I'm a huge Game Creek fan. From the royal treatment on the way to the chalet (accessible only by Gondola and snowcat - hope for Roy as your driver!), to the beautiful setting and venue, to the warm crackling welcome as you enter the doors...I can't get enough, and recommend it to everyone I come across in Vail. Have a... More

Loved riding the gondola and snow cat to this gorgeous spot. Ordered the 3 course option for birthday dinner. Food was attractively presented and creatively prepared. Overall service left a bit to be desired as there were several long stretches waiting for drinks/bread and plates to be cleared. Waitstaff did offer an appetizer and dessert bonus tasting, and also provided... More

Fantastic fun getting the gondola and snow cat up to the restaurant. Cocktails at the bar were delicious and really different. The fixed menu was mainly excellent. Pork starter was superb. Entree of lamb was a real winner but wagyu beef a little disappointing was quite tough. Deserts and cheese platters were lovely. The atmosphere is superb. Highly recommend this... More

We've eaten here for both brunch (summer) and dinner and have never been less than amazed by the imaginative, delicious food...the chef is a genius, the staff is friendly, attentive & helpful when you just can't choose WHICH fabulous dish to order...the experience is enhanced by a gondola ride to the site & the amazing views...all we'll worth the expense... A trifecta of perfect food, service and view! It was the best experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I recommend you reserve well in advance and early in the evening to witness a glorious sunset in the Rockies. The water steered us to one Chef’s tasting and one price fix set of choices so we could share seven... More

What a fun way to have dinner in Vail. Ride up the Lionshead gondola and then travel via snowcat to this beautiful restaurant. You'll feel like you've arrived in the Swiss Alps once you enter the dining room! The menu is prix fix (4 or 5 courses, or a more extensive tasting menu). We felt that the prices were a... More

My wife, son, and I spent the last week in Vail. This was a wonderful experience - the gondola ride out of Lionshead (very different to take it at night dressed for dinner vs in ski gear), the Cat ride (on the way back my son and I rode in the front), and the dinner itself. The food was very... More

For the second year in a row Game Creek restaurant is the best in food and service in vail. The snow cat ride is cool too, be sure to ask for a ride in the cab (only 1 seat). Well worth the price.

We had made reservations through Open Table and the only time available was 9:15. Since this was to be our big Valentine's dinner, we decided to book it. I got a call from Game Creek about 7 pm saying they could take us earlier and we jumped at the chance. Riding the Gondola at Lionshead then taking a snow cat... More

My wife and I recently travelled to Vail for a week of skiing and dining. We travel frequently and, being in the food business, I love great food but also am value-conscious. Game Creek had been highly recommended to us by 'Sheryl the concierge' at The Lodge at Vail. We m ade our way over to Lion Head and boarded... More
