Whilst staying in Vail we thought we would re-visit a restaurant we had been topreviously and had found to be excellent with great food and service. The service remained good, but the food was just OK. My main course of Osso Bucco was accompanied by root vegetables which I fear had barely seen hot water. There is al dente and... More

We chose this restaurant for our NYE dinner based on the strong TI reviews and accolades, in addition to the proximity to the torch light parade and fireworks. We were seated at a nice window table overlooking the mountain and the positives stopped there. For a $155 per person pre-fix menu, the options were lackluster. At a price point like... More

We made a reservation to celebrate New Year's Eve and chose the Lord Gore based on all the good ratings on Trip Advisor. Was surprised immediately that the restaurant did not have tablecloths. Our bottle of wine had a dry cork, but tasted ok. The meal was a big disappointment from the celery soup to the pie dessert. Not a... More

Although it can be hard to get to this was a great spot for dinner! The atmosphere is a perfect ski lodge setting. Had the duck and it was very good, and the mushroom appetizer was a favorite at the table. Not a place to miss while on vacation in vail!

Wonderful to service was provided to our large party of 4 adults and 5 teenagers. All food was delightfully presented and delicious. They did not have buffalo that night so we were a bit disappointed in that. Nonetheless, everyone enjoyed their meals.

All three of us took buffalo strip loan and it was absolutely delicious! The ambiance was very nice and the service was great. Kids friendly place too.

The Lord Gore was impressive and conveniently located in Golden Peak at the Manor Vail. My son had the Butter Poached Lobster Tacos which he said were fantastic. I had the Red Quinoa Bowl which was delicious. Service was wonderful so it was really a pleasure having this at the Manor Vail.

Our family decided to check out Lord Gore due to their high ratings on tripadvisor. When we got there, we were surprised at how empty the restaurant was. It was a Sunday night so this may have been part of the reason. The atmosphere of the restaurant, however, was perfect. It was one giant room with half off the wall... More

Lord Gore is our go to restaurant to eat at before the ballet or concerts during the Vail Valley summer festival. During the week the restaurant is closed so we eat in the bar at the hotel instead. They are very different dining experiences, but both excellent. The parking is very close for the performances.

We were excited to try Lord Gore because of all the great reviews about the game dishes on the menu. We were very disappointed that there was no elk, no bison, not even any lamb offered on the menu. Two of us decided on the sea bass and only ate a third of it because it was so dry. One... More

I appreciate you taking the time to let us know we fell short of your expectations. First, I would like to apologize for the lack of game meats on our menu.
