Still Great!

The Montauk is one of the best places in Lionshead. The seafood is fresh and prepared to perfection. The prices are fair and service is excellent. Overall, if you love seafood and in Vail, Montauk is the place place for you.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful date night dinner at Montauk. The service was excellent and food even better! Try the Oyster shooters if you're up for a little jumpstart to the evening!

located in the village. This is a really nice seafood restaurant that offers a great experience. I had the crab claws which were delicious. Also had the crusted Halibut which was also really good. Would highly recommend this restaurant

This is a great restaurant. The food was so fresh, good quality and yummy with great service. I was surprised seeing as it's inland and better than many of the places we tried whilst we were in san francisco. You need to make a reservation as it can get quite busy. .

We eat here at least twice every time we visit Vail. The seafood is excellent, and we love the scallops, oysters and seafood pasta with choice of sauces. It is by no means inexpensive but this is Vail and you will get consistently good fish cooked perfectly. It is a busy place, reservations are a must.

Not what it's touted as. They were not overbooked or even full on a Friday night. There was a mistake in the reservation by 15 minutes (on our part) and they cancelled the reservation. OK, they were able to seat us immediately so being off by 15 minutes wasn't a problem. Took them 10+ minutes to offer a drink and... More

If I could eat there every day of my life I would! The food is delicious, the wine selection is good and the service is great! I recommend you order the tuna tacos, the warm Alaskan king crab legs and of course the sea bass with noodles! For dessert we ordered the brownie and it was very good! Bon Appetite!
