Birthday dinner worthy!

What a gem to have such a wonderful seafood resturant in Vail ski village! We went there for my birthday and I must say it was one of the best meals I can remember having on my birthday. I was extremely impressed with Montauk. Chatting with the able bartender, I learned that the food is shipped in daily, which satisfied my curiosity of how such a landlocked state could serve such fresh oysters. The atmosphere was sophisticated, yet comfortable. The staff were great. The food (3 entrees & 2 appetizers) were excellent.

There are plenty of beef and meat restaurants in the area, but this is one of the few seafood restaurants in the Vail area and one of the best restaurants in Lionshead Village. The menu has a wide variety of seafood dishes. We started with an order of mussels in a white wine, garlic, lavender broth which was enough for... More

Nice meal but a little expensive for what we got. Service was attentive and the seafood selection was good. My cucumber and greens salad was quite good.

We had a delicious dinner here, in the Lionshead section of Vail. For starters my friend had the Manhattan clam chowder and I the Calamari. My friend lriend liked the soup and the Calamari were very good. My friend loved his linguni with everything. Yes, that was the name of the dish. It came with clams, mussels, scallops and other... My wife and I had dinner here our first night in Vail. Based on a meal we had here a few years ago, we expected over dinner to be better. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and found it to be just okay. My wife ordered the red snapper which was excellent while I ordered the swordfish which was... More

Seafood was fresh and cooked just right. Restuarant is pricey as all restuarNts are in Vail. Service was good and attenative.

My wife and I enjoyed a great meal last week. Fantastic Calamari, Tuna Tacos were fresh and tasty, I had the Ahi Tuna and my wife had the Scottish Salmon. All were fresh and fantastic. Also had great service on what was a pretty busy night. Good wine list and fair prices. Remember you are in Vail and everything is... More

We liked the quality of the food and the way they were presented. Lionshead doesn't have as many fine dining venues as Vail Village, so this is a bit of an exception. We found the steaks to be slightly undercooked and had to send one back to be finished off. That may be our fault as we are not from... More
