Food at the Little Diner is fresh, tasty and perfectly executed. It's a bustling place that probably seats no more than 30 at a time. The efficient and friendly staff keep everything moving and the use of space is amazing. Executive chef Brian Little astutely offered to substitute avocado for bacon when I order a "BLT without the B" and... More

Wow! This was the best breakfast experience we ever had - the set up was quaint, and the food was holy cow delicious. Fantastic pancakes (I mean, FANTASTIC). We'd recommend the Ranch Hand Breakfast - you get a little bit of everything...eggs, hash browns, bacon, toast, and a pancake (seriously, don't forego the pancake). Hours are 7-ish to around 2.... Had a great breakfast there on a Tuesday morning. No wait. I ordered a Dutch pancake. YUM! Order this if you like pancakes/cream puff crust. I ordered it with HOMEMADE cinnamon apples (none of this canned pie, filling stuff). Warning this dish will easily serve four. So share it or hope you have a room fridge. This place was a... More

We ate at the Little Diner for breakfast and were not disappointed. My husband and I both had omelets and they were prepared fresh and were delicious. The fruit is a bowl full of berries; blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Highly recommend for breakfast. Can't wait to try their lunch menu.

Had brunch at The Little Diner. We signed in on an ipad and were told the wait was about 40 minutes. Received a text when our table was ready. My husband had the steak and egg sandwich and I had the avocado burger. Totally worth the wait. It was fun watching the chef prepare the orders. Can't wait to go... More

Yes, you can spend a lot more and dine in more elegant surroundings. And we did. However, our brunch at The Little Diner was the favorite of our recent visit to Vail. The blueberry pancakes were the best I have ever eaten. Don't miss The Little Diner!

Finally got to eat at The Little Diner in Vail (tried a couple times but it was closed). Great breakfast options and everything was delicious! My family of six had no complaints - pancakes were awesome, omelets were perfect, all their specialties if the house were well worth tasting and everyone very friendly! Try to go off hours if you... You have got to try this restaurant, very small and everyone sits at the counter. Great food, and plenty of it. Best show in Vail is watching the chef cook your meal. Very friendly, closes at 2:00 PM.

Had takeout breakfast so can't tell you much about the atmosphere. The food was great though. A must if you are in Vail.
