Cold beer and tasty egg roll! We stopped in for cold one before heading to our condo. Friendly bartender and great service!

Great place for cheap drinks and food. This is a bar, would not take my kids there. Dark, typical bar. As adults it was great. Heard it is where locals hang out. Went in for a quick drink, ended up staying talking to locals, and enjoying cheap drinks. Suggest going there for late night drinks. Bartender was great.

We returned twice to the George because we liked it so much. During Happy Hour, which lasts from 6-10pm, the drink and food prices are discounted and very reasonable. Despite the pub atmosphere and economical prices, the food was very high quality. Get the Plum Duck. It was fabulous. Also, if you want to watch a sporting event (The World... More

Stopped at the George after seeing their advertised Happy Hour specials, which actually run from 6 to 10 p.m! The beer prices aren't anything special, but all mixed drinks and liquor are a flat $4.50, which is a great deal, especially in Vail. This is a bar / lounge. I would be hesitant to bring children here just because of... More

After many happy-hour trips to The George, this was our first dinner experience. As a gluten free traveler, our waitress was so very accommodating!!! And to think a pub would have such amazing king crab legs and steaks! The vegetables served with our dinners were perfectly cooked. The ambiance of pub is fabulous -comfortable lounge and cozy atmosphere. Great place... More

Let me begin by saying I love the food and drink during the Happy Hour at George. Unfortunately, we tried to eat there as a party of 10. One of our group did not have an ID and was denied admission to the restaurant at the door. So, none of us was able to eat there that evening. Their policy... More

This is the best overall value in Vail for food and drink. Generous happy hour specials from early afternoon to 9PM! We have gone there each March for years. This year two nights. Always lots of locals and young people.

This is a must visit if you are in Vail Village with your partner or you have a small group. This is not a romantic setting at all. Large groups will be difficult to seat because of space. Mixed TA reviews on if kids are allowed in this bar not. Although the food is "family friendly", this place is really... More

When we ski in Vail we always make sure that we have at least one visit to the George, we just love the laid back atmosphere. The happy hour drinks are a good value for Vail. The couches are great for relaxing, although getting out of them after a day of skiing and a couple of drinks isn't always pretty!
