Stopped in for an early meal before going to the Vail Dance Festival, great salad, crab cakes and rose wine. Sitting outside on the terrace is a treat.

It is in a nice location by the creek, I think it would be okay for lunch sitting outside. Dinner was not good, tomato sauce was from a jar...we expected better in Vail. The meal was very expensive, service was okay. Very disappointing.

Sitting on the patio, looking at Gore Creek, having great food - couldn't get better! We enjoyed this so much that we came back for lunch a second time. We had the same server both times and he was very good. Their Reuben, their chicken tortilla soup, and their ice tea (served with a carafe) were especially good. There is... More

this was the last dinner we had planned in Vail and I'm so glad we saved the best for last! I had the most delicious braised short ribs atop gouda bacon mac-and-cheese and it was just phenomenal! The views complement the high end meal while the restaurant is still family friendly

All four of us were impressed with the quality of the food and its innovative presentation. Everything was well prepared and fresh. The wine list was extensive though somewhat pricey,(then was it not in Vail). The service was good but not exceptional. The atmosphere is fine though we did get there at 6.30 and at least half the tables were... More

Restaurant overlooks Gore Creek in Vail. Has a menu with lots of selectable items - and food portions are huge. There were 3 of us and each had something different, so had a good selection to taste.

Beautiful view along Gore Creek. Grilled ruby trout ordered by one in our party was excellent and generous portion. Brat on a pretzel bun was good but over-powered by size of bun. Nice wine list.

It was my first trip to Vail, so i was excited to see all the Village offered. Up The Creek had been recommended to us for lunch. We went about 12:30, got seated immediately. The service, not so fast. The restaurant was busy, but not full. Someone took our beverage order, but a few tables seated after us had given... More

We sat outside by the scenic creek but it started pouring so they transferred our table inside. We both had sandwiches which were huge. Mine was a BLT with avocado and the bread was grilled perfectly. I also got soup....so much food mmmmm:) I had the Lemonade raspberry blueberry crush with Vodka. it was really good. Definitely go the views... More

Up the Creek is a lovely stop for drinks or food in Vail Village. Right beside the beautiful Gore Creek, my favorite is sipping a Blood Orange Bellinitini and the spinach salad with salmon. The owners and staff are very attentive and friendly. Every visit to Vail must begin with settling in at Up the Creek.
