Best meal we had all week in Vail. The elk loin was an amazing dish as well as the scallops. Highly recommend.

Would definitely be on my list for another repeat. Had a soup for lunch that was so good, I went back for dinner and started off with another soup. Everyone in our party loved the food and the friendly service

After travelling all day on New Years Day, we were greeted into this wonderful restaurant. Our waiter was attentive and recommended some tasty dishes. There were 6 of us so we shared a mixed green salad with pecans, cherries & blue cheese, carpaccio, chicken tortilla soup, and arugula salad. We all tasted each others dinner of Rack of Lamb, Red trout,... More

This is a lovely and quiet restaurant tucked away along the Gore Creek in Vail. The specialty cocktails were delicious, as was the food. The tables are well spaced so the noise level is low and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. We had great service and all went home very happy.

The location of this restaurant is very scenic and beautiful. We made our reservation and were excited when we walked in. Unfortunately, before we got the chance to taste the great food, we had to experience a host who seemed bothered to seat us, a server who was bothered we were sitting at the table before it was set, (although... This was the best meal I had in Vail. The Elk loin was simply superb, as was the short rib. The dessert was excellent too. The appetizers were also great. The service couldn't have been better - nice, attentive, hands on when needed and not when not. Also totally kid friendly while at the same time clearly great if you... More

A great lunch place. Pretty but casual setting on the creek. Food is interesting and always well prepared but there are simple classics too. I had an amazing mushroom spinach enchilada, my husband a basic burger. There were many very young children so must be child friendly. Service is friendly and reasonably speedy. Owner runs things and it runs well.... More

Fantastic lunch. Fresh food and very tasty. We have the chicken sandwich and the fish tacos - both were fantastic (again). Service was courteous, timely and not pushy at all. Will go again and recommend to our guests.

We have been dining at Up the Creek for over 20 years. This restaurant is consistent in food quality and price. For Vail, the pricing is reasonable.
