We wandered in late afternoon and we're made to feel very welcome Even though it was very early we wanted to choose from the dinner menu. This didn't present a problem and we chose Lamb chops for my wife and a New York strip for myself. Our server Eric was excellent as was the food. Highly recommended!

Our first course was very good but our entrée was a wow. We had the fish and if it is on the menu the elk which was done to perfection. all the accompaniments went well with the specific dish. A great hit and understandably so was the apple/blueberry cobbler. The service was excellent. The meal justified the price. If in... More

Truly fantastic meal! From the host, to bartender to wait staff-everyone was friendly and proud of their restaurant. Food had interesting and fun flavors with local flair. Booked for a decade birthday celebration and did not disappoint! strongly recommend!

We went with a party of 8 meeting colleagues for dinner at 8 on a Tuesday night during high ski season. The restaurant was full, but with a tolerable noise level. I liked the fact that they had not crowded a maximum number of tables into the restaurant...plenty of elbow room. We started sharing an order of mussels and another... More

The owner Peter always has a friendly greeting, lots of repeat customers. Definitely not gourmet but excellent food and wine, equally great for a break in the middle of the day from skiing or in the evening and in the summers outside on the creek.

Party of 13, ages 51 to 13. Fabulous food, exceptional service from Eric, and everyone was happy. Wine recommendations were perfect, and we benefitted from some great ski terrain advice during dessert. We had a great night there.

I always enjoy goign here if for nothing else the perfect spot next to the creek. It's especially great in the summer if yous it outside next to the water since you catch a goo 10 degree drop in the temperature off of the water. The food is pretty tasty as well. Excellent Calamri and all of the entrees I've... More

Had a great meal here - including a buffalo tenderloin that was to die for. The food is great, but the surroundings are not so great - I was by a window and it was a little cold - and I don't feel the cold that much. So - pick you space in the restaurant - the food is worth... More
