Just across the Covered Bridge in Vail Village is Bridge Street's warm, cozy and oldest steak house - Russell's. We have a friendly, relaxing atmosphere with wonderful Creekside dining. Russell's features dry aged Certified Angus beef, along with delightful fish entrees and world-renowned Alaskan King Crab Legs. One side dish that you can't pass up is our scalloped potatoes - baked with onions, bacon and cheese with a golden brown top. A lot of our staff members have been with us for 20 years or more. Come by and see for yourself why the locals and staff love Russell's. We take great pride in serving premier steaks and seafood in the most enjoyable and accommodating restaurant in Vail. Reservations recommended.

Great location, very good food

Great location right by covered bridge. Food was very good but expensive. Enjoyed the salmon and the trout. Tomato basil appetizer was also very good.

We just had an excellent dinner at this restaurant. If I go to an expensive restaurant, I always go for steak because I think it should be worth the money. My husband and I both had excellent 8 oz filet mignon that came with scalloped potatoes and asparagus. We also split caesar salad which was good. Restaurant also gives you... More

Just had a family MLK ski weekend at Vail. Enjoyed dinner at Russell's Steakhouse, which serves excellent grilled fair, provides engaging service and has a great location overlooking the bridge in Vail Village. Would reco the steaks, but their baby back ribs are some of the best we have had. Nice atmosphere, but noisy in the entry bar - main... More

This apparently is a Vail Institution. This of it as a refined old fashioned Bar and Grill. Nice and quiet with friendly staff. We ate as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids and had a wonderful evening. It had a great kids menu and they were happy to split any of there adult steaks into two for the... More

Russell's Restaurant offers good, solid American fare. Their Steaks are well aged and the flavors show it. Good basic sides that are flavorful. This place has a lively crowd so if seeking a quiet, romantic dinner seek elsewhere.

We were running late for our booking at 6pm and our table was given away when we arrived at 6:20pm. We are from out of town had no idea that this was the cut through nature of how customers are treated if they are running late. No courtesy call to check if we're coming pretty poor customer service and our... More

By far, my most favorite place to eat in Vail. The steaks and seafood are incredible. Also - try the tuna sashimi and definitely order the au gratin potatoes.

Delicious! The trout was spectacular as well as the different cuts of meat (filet mignon and ribeye). Very accommodating with my toddler, they brought out his food first without me asking.

We had our Thanksgiving dinner with some friends. The food is amazing and the price is fair! They prepared a special plate for the occasion (turkey, for sure), with stuffed, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. Delicious.
