Best Breakfast Buffet Ever, But Very Expensive

We ate breakfast at the Bully Ranch Restaurant. We stayed in a suite the night before and when we arrived at breakfast, they had our names and room information. I had hoped that breakfast would be included or at least discounted since we spent a small fortune on the room, but it was full price... read more

Overall a reasonable spot for an easy casual lunch. Nothing too unusual and nothing to complain about, except wait staff should understand that sparkling wine is best not called champagne.

We went for lunch, so didn't get anything too fancy. Just burgers and fish & chips. Service was good/friendly. Food was delicious. They have seating indoors (supposed to be a western decor) and outside. Would eat there again!

Nice local place, but where is the buffalo on the menu? Was kind of expecting that along with a baked potato - neither of which is available. On special was the prime rib, which I ordered medium rare and it came out medium. Very tasty though. Local Colorado beers are available. Very good food, but it has menu shortcomings.

First off: Avoid any beef that is not 7x at this place, as it will have fat pieces stuck on to it. Second: The burger here is the best in Vail. Third: The 7x cuts are amazing. 7x is a cattle rancher in Colorado which I think was worth the try. (http://7xbeef.com/)

Here with friends for a weekend getaway! Our waiter, Ryan, was very attentive. We met the manager, Damien, who gave great advise about the menu. They have awesome specials! The food was excellent! Highly recommend the tomato soup.

I'm not a huge bbq fan, and I never thought I would eat a "tater tot". Not being American, I was also fairly unclear as to what they were.... the ones at this restaurant were a sinful treat, thanks to the truffle oil... Servings of everything were HUGE - one plate of anything could easily serve 2 hungry people.

Attached to the lovely Sonnenalp hotel, Bully Ranch is an easy place to grab drinks or dinner. Unfortunately, the night we went, the service was awful. Walking through the hotel and into the restaurant, not one person stopped to offer us a table. We awkwardly stood around, unsure of where the host stand was, before finally seating ourselves in an... One of the most awesome hamburgers I've ever had! Only reason I give 4 and not 5 stars is because of a little mix up with the sides. However all the food was very high quality and the service was promptly and personal. Note, you can not make reservations. We were having dinner quite early so it wasn't a problem... More
