We ate here on our first visit to Vail last December and had a great meal so decided to try it again this December. Yes,it's Vail, and yes, it's pricey...but the food and service are top notch. Do not miss the Hawaiian yellowtail sashimi as an appetizer. I ordered the duck breast and my wife had the market fish of... More

Now I am usually not a fish person, but it just looked so good, I couldn't help but try something new. It was served with a mustard spaetzle, winter squash, and brussels sprouts that were cooked to... More

Trip advisor is only showing the lunch menu. Be aware that the dinner menu is a lot more pricy and a dinner for two can cost you more than a couple hundreds. Food was great and I guess worth the price, but I did not like the surprise factor when getting hit with an dinner menu of 6-7 choices ranging... More

My husband and I drove to Vail for the day while staying in Denver. We wanted to have dinner before driving back for the night and decided to try Sweet Basil because it had decent reviews....Wish we hadn't tried it. Honestly, for the price the food was ok. I had the grilled chicken which was about $32 and did not... More

We enjoyed dinner at Sweet Basil with family and some friends. The food was creative, well prepared, and very nicely presented. Our waiter was awesome...very knowledgable about the dishes, and funny as well.
