Lovely restaurant with excellent food and service

Shrimp and Calamari starter was delicious in a light batter sauce $15. The haddock was a rather small portion but delicious and perfectly cooked $14. tagliatelle was good too $14.

Food was average. We enjoyed the atmosphere. The wait staff seemed annoyed. We started with lobster bisque and Caesar salad. The bisque was bland, Caesar was okay. I had the special which was a pork belly dish; it really wasn't that special. hubby had steak but was not wowed.

Don't skip desserts! There were many great options for the meals and starters, of particular awesomeness is the tempura fried avocado burger, with salmon able to be added for meat eaters. The desserts were really the star though, service was great too, I highly recommend this place!

May is mud season so they offered 3 courses for $45. This is huge value for this restaurant. Pea soup was to die for.

This place shares kitchen with another restaurant (modern mountain I think but not sure) and supposed to be more creative so we went there for lunch. We were late, like shortly before 2pm and during off season. Still, everything worked superbly well. The view on the mountain river is great, the lunch was delicious. The had beets salad and home... I was a little worried with the fancy menu for a quick lunch. The waiter recommended the brisket sandwich and I couldn't have been more pleased (I'm usually a soup and salad girl for lunch, so this was a stretch!). Unbelievably delicious marinated meat, topped with awesome slaw on a bun. Served with crispy, thin fries. Excellent and professional service.

Heard it was one of the better restaurants in Vail and it didn't disappoint. Very polished service and staff but certainly not stuffy. Lots of dining options in Vail and this one should be on the list.

Service is always very good here and the food is well prepared and very tasty. Tables near the window give a view of the Gore River. Went here this time for lunch. There were four of us and we all liked the food and service. Came to $60 plus tips for two plates of agnolotti and two plates of
