Excellent restaurant for Vail. I happened to visit on closing weekend (part 2) and was happy to find half priced entree's. Appetizer and entrée (trout) were fantastic. I had the signature bitter sweet chocolate molten lava cake for dessert and it was amazing. I loved the atmosphere as it was classy, comfortable, and upscale. I will definitely be returning the... We stopped here after skiing at 5 pm for half priced appetizers and wine. Two glasses of wine and four appetizers later we were full and the bill was $35. Excellent food as always. Service was a little slow because our waiter was preoccupied with watching the final holes of the Masters Golf Tournament. Food trumps service in our estimation.

One of the few places that we always go back to. The food is fresh and you can always find interesting and healthy vegetarian and carnivorous choices. Nice ambiance and extremely knowledgable and friendly servers.

Stopped for lunch and had a glass of Ramey chardonnay, the cornmeal crusted trout with sweet potato and asparagus hash, and the banana bread pudding with rum sauce for dessert. The trout dish was fine, not remarkable. The banana bread pudding was disappointing. It was more like a piece of banana bread topped with roasted bananas, a scoop of not... More

I have been coming to Terra Bistro for years now and every time they deliver. The menu changes constantly (or at least between my visits) and it is always good. We usually go in large parties and whatever we end up having is delicious. Dishes that are original and not found at other restaurants in Vail. Although not cheap, the... More

We were staying at the Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa where the Terra Bistro is located. Went to Happy Hour the first night and never found a better place so we kept going back. The appetizers are excellent, especially the Ahi Tuna, and Beef Lettuce wraps. Bartenders were friendly and professional. Sean, Doug and Ben made our visits especially fun.... More

We had an unforgettable meal here. After arriving on a Friday night with no reservations (on a busy Easter weekend) we were well accommodated at a small bar table. The host made us feel most welcome and got us drinks right away. The food was fantastic, fresh and creative. It was a culinary delight. Highly recommended!
