Larkspur use to be our preferred restaurant in the area. We went twice during this visit and were disappointed. The food was bland and the menu uninteresting with items like pizza or burgers that should not be in the dinner offering for a restaurant of this level. The service was just OK, the room as always very pleasant

On Saturday evening, I brought my dad to Larkspur for his 60th birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted and he was wished a happy birthday. When we were seated we had a couple of beers and ordered an appetizer of the Beef Carpaccio which our server Sean suggested, and it was delicious. After our first course was cleared, our entrees... It is a great stop to gat a nice bit before continuing skying around lunchtime, we loved the truffle oil pizza as well as the burgers. At night, the restaurant is superb as well as the wine list!

This is a great place right off the last run into Golden Peak. We went as a large group and booked the whole place. Stunning fireworks on the slopes in front of the restaurant & champaign, kicked the night off. We had a set menu. All of which was well cooked and presented beautifully. I had salmon - sensational and... More

We had a wonderful experience eating dinner at the Larkspur. Their menu has changed to become more casual and more accessible. The staff made a point to make us feel special and welcome. The food is truly incredible.

We go to Larkspur every winter. It's become a routine part of our annual ski trip. We are usually very happy, which is why we go back every year. This year, however, we were very disappointed and will need to find somewhere else to go next year because I don't think we'll go back here. I don't know if there... More

This was our most enjoyable lunch while skiing in Vail. Service was attentive, the food was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the prices were the same as a buffet line in a ski lodge.

Took my family group of five adults to lunch on Wed, Dec 30th, after a morning cross-country lesson. While the cheddar cheeseburger was expensive($19.50) it was also delicious. Unfortunately the service was so slow I was left at the table by myself looking for someone to take my check since my server had somehow disappeared and my family members had... More

I dislike being the worst-type of restaurant guest. On my phone doing business while my server, a human offering me their precious life and hospitality, is trying to engage and I am on the phone with corporate America. However this was the situation at Larkspur, recently. Travis was excellent. Perfect menu suggestion, attentive without being intrusive and VERY funny: he... More

We visited the restaurant for a Christmas Day lunch on the recommendation of a friend who worked in the area. Having traveled to Colorado numerous times and enjoyed several Larkburger locations, I felt inclined to try the original location. The atmosphere and staff were great but the prices were a bit high. If you are in the market for a... More
