One of my favorite restaurants in Vail

Larkspur continues to have a wonderful wine cellar and with an ever changing menu keeps providing outstanding cuisine. The veal scallopini with double roasted potatoes and creamed spinach is to die for.

The talented service staff at Larkspur accommodated our very large group very well. We completely filled the Chef's Table room on Saturday of a holiday weekend and weren't disappointed. The food was excellent and the staff was efficient and very accommodating. Also enjoyed the light hearted activity in the kitchen where all seemed to enjoy the work. Ambiance, presentation and... Enjoyed a lunch and an evening meal at Larkspur the first week of January 2016. Service at lunch was very poor, but the sandwich was good. The dinner service was better, but food only average. In both instances, the price was pretty high for Colorado, and even for Vail. Not a bad venue either, but no real character like some... More

Worth skiing to Larkspur for a proper sit down lunch. Never had a bad meal here. Blows away the food on the mountain (especially mid-vail).

We went here for a late lunch after skiing (we dinned when the lunch menu was available, they also have an apres ski menu) around 3. Went there twice in one week. The tomato soup is the best I have ever had, and the grilled cheese was very tasteful and delicious. The fries were good as well as the margarita... More

I have been in this restaurant many times and it is always among the top options in Vail. Food is excellent and so is the wait staff. The menu has a wide variety and it is very creative - many unique options.

Step away from the European décor and antler chandeliers to experience this modern style restaurant. The bar offers a nice view of the slopes at Golden Peak. One of the best wine lists in the valley with a nice selection of wines by the glass. The food is inventive, fresh and delicious. Easy to ski to for après-ski then walk... More
