Very Yummy

I was presently surprised with Campo, original Italian decor, very busy with mini groups. Each of our meals were lovely. We were a party of 8, each had a starter and main. Maybe this is what passes for good Italian food in Colorado? Neither my husband or I were impressed. They forgot to bring out his seafood salad that he was looking forward to more than his pasta entree (which he said was blah.). I had the extremely expensive $36 veal with smoked mozzarella & prosciutto which I also thought just average.... More

Just back from this really good Italian restaurant. There is not many tables so book in advance especially the WE! Service is nice, price reasonable and good service!!! Pastas were awesome and portions generous! A must in Vail!

This restaurant is consistently good. The atmosphere is unpretentious, loud and exciting as if you're visiting a huge and happy family. The food is delicious. The service is great. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The adults and the kids loved it equally.

Our group went for the first time to the campo di fiori this past February. we had a little bit of a numbers issue and arrived with one more than our stated reservation on a busy Saturday night. the staff and manager were incredibly understanding and helpful and got us a new and larger table almost immediately. this is in... Great spot with an upstairs dining room downtown Vail. Decor is warm and cozy, perfect after a day on the slopes. I had the barbabietola salad and the linguine crostacei. The salad was a little disappointing (beets were canned and not roasted in house), but the linguine was great and had lots of tasty seafood. I was blown away by... More

We noticed the nice décor of this restaurant from afar. Unable to get a reservation (Vail2015), we thought we would try to sit at the bar (just four barstools), but it was packed. Luck intervened and the very nice and professional hostess told us to come back in 30 minutes - and voila, we had a table. The penne pasta... More

My wife and very nice dinner here starting with the olive appetizer. We never had warm olives before but found them to be quite tasty. As a main course the veal scallopini was good but nothing special. The penne caprese with eggplant, however, was outstanding. I would order it again in a heartbeat. I like you so much and I... More

Campo De Fiori is another Vail institution. I have eaten in their Aspen restaurant (and will be pack for a Presidents weekend), which I also love, but was most recently in Vail. The first thing about this restaurant is the warmth of the people working here. Mira is always with the biggest smile and a hug to greet you. The... More
