Though each dish appeared small, we left feeling quite sated by the quality and quantity. We had a chef's selection of sushi which was delicious, though pricey. Ventured into Matsuhisa with friends and found ourselves treated to an outstanding 5 course meal at a great off season value. The quality and preparation of the sushi was excellent. Can't wait to come again!

So this is average any city mid market sushi. I've been to Matsu Aspen and Nobu Ceasars Palace.. both on another planet quality wise than here. Don't get fooled. . This is a money grab ..fooling people into thinking they're eating the highest end sushi. I'm mad I waisted the money. DON'T GO.

Went to Vail for a weekend during mud season. The reputation of Matsuhisa is rather intimidating as one of the best sushi restaurants in the beautiful people capitals of the world. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, taking center stage in the Solaris complex in the center of Vail. Floor to ceiling windows framing the views. Tall, tasteful, blend of mountain... More

My husband and I ate dinner here during Spring Back to Vail. The restaurant is beautiful and we had a great view out the front windows. The food was well-prepared and delicious and our server was attentive and helpful regarding the menu. It was one of our best meals in Vail and I would definitely eat here again.

Fresh, delicious, unique. What a great experience. Delicious and fresh sushi and accompaniments. Prompt, friendly and efficient staff. I have been to other Matsuhisa restaurants and this one held up to the reputation.

Not even close to what you would expect from a Nobu related restaurant. The set up is beautiful. High ceilings, good looking bar, nice view, etc. We were seated at the back of the restaurant in a very tight space that was very warm. After a brief discussion, we were moved to a much better table. The service was mediocre... More

How can you go wrong here? Nobu's reputation precedes him. Very nice service good recommendations we stuck to mostly sushi/sashimi but we felt like all the courses came out very fast! At these prices tell them you are in no hurry!

Everything was absolutely perfect...as expected. The signature cocktails were delicious and the wine list is huge, something for everyone. There were six of us total and we shared about four starters, three entrees, five sushi rolls and the Mochi for dessert. Perfect amount of food. Our server Spencer was extremely knowledgeable and had great recommendations. Yes it's expensive but worth... More

I've had dinner at the Aspen location and often not had a meal come close. It really is tough to describe how good it is. The only down side to the Vail location is the building is loud and crowded, but you will soon forget when the food arrives. They win for unique combinations, visuals, textures, and above all, taste.You... More
