Had the Nobu quality of food we've come to expect.

Enjoyed the food very much and service was pleasant and helpful. The only downside was that it was housed in a huge barn like place that was extremely noisy. However the quality of food and service compensated for the noise. Because it's so popular the earliest time we could book a table was after... read more

My husband and I ate dinner here during Spring Back to Vail. The restaurant is beautiful and we had a great view out the front windows. The food was well-prepared and delicious and our server was attentive and helpful regarding the menu. It was one of our best meals in Vail and I would definitely eat here again.

Fresh, delicious, unique. What a great experience. Delicious and fresh sushi and accompaniments. Prompt, friendly and efficient staff. I have been to other Matsuhisa restaurants and this one held up to the reputation.

Not even close to what you would expect from a Nobu related restaurant. The set up is beautiful. High ceilings, good looking bar, nice view, etc. We were seated at the back of the restaurant in a very tight space that was very warm. After a brief discussion, we were moved to a much better table. The service was mediocre... More

How can you go wrong here? Nobu's reputation precedes him. Very nice service good recommendations we stuck to mostly sushi/sashimi but we felt like all the courses came out very fast! At these prices tell them you are in no hurry!

Everything was absolutely perfect...as expected. The signature cocktails were delicious and the wine list is huge, something for everyone. There were six of us total and we shared about four starters, three entrees, five sushi rolls and the Mochi for dessert. Perfect amount of food. Our server Spencer was extremely knowledgeable and had great recommendations. Yes it's expensive but worth... More

I've had dinner at the Aspen location and often not had a meal come close. It really is tough to describe how good it is. The only down side to the Vail location is the building is loud and crowded, but you will soon forget when the food arrives. They win for unique combinations, visuals, textures, and above all, taste.You... More

We love Japanese food & our friends had dined at a 'Nobu' before so 4 of us booked one night during our our ski week. The food was so good, we returned 2 days later. It was honestly the best food we had during our week at Vail. Delicately flavoured, fresh seafood is a highlight of the menu. The dishes are... More

Love the Matsu in Aspen so had to go here. Food was fantastic, as was the service. The vibe is open and loud. Not as cozy as in Aspen but food made up for it. We called to book our table. Heard others tried on Open Table and couldn't get in...might be safer to call.

I lived in Manhattan all my adult life until recently and ate at Nobu NYC often. I have skied Vail many times and eaten at this place at least twice on every visit. Matsuhisa is Nobu's place in Vail. There are no bargains in Vail. Is it worth it? Depends. For the food, probably not. It is good, but not... More
