Had the Nobu quality of food we've come to expect.

Enjoyed the food very much and service was pleasant and helpful. The only downside was that it was housed in a huge barn like place that was extremely noisy. I've had dinner at the Aspen location and often not had a meal come close. It really is tough to describe how good it is. The only down side to the Vail location is the building is loud and crowded, but you will soon forget when the food arrives. They win for unique combinations, visuals, textures, and above all, taste.You... More

We love Japanese food & our friends had dined at a 'Nobu' before so 4 of us booked one night during our our ski week. The food was so good, we returned 2 days later. It was honestly the best food we had during our week at Vail. Delicately flavoured, fresh seafood is a highlight of the menu. The dishes are... More

Love the Matsu in Aspen so had to go here. Food was fantastic, as was the service. The vibe is open and loud. Not as cozy as in Aspen but food made up for it. We called to book our table. Heard others tried on Open Table and couldn't get in...might be safer to call.

I lived in Manhattan all my adult life until recently and ate at Nobu NYC often. I have skied Vail many times and eaten at this place at least twice on every visit. Matsuhisa is Nobu's place in Vail. There are no bargains in Vail. Is it worth it? Depends. For the food, probably not. It is good, but not... More

How fun to dine in a beautiful restaurant with outstanding views and enjoy a different dining experience. At our waiter's suggestion, we ordered several items from each page of the menu and loved trying all the different flavors. Their speciality, the Black Sea bass was amazing. A treat for a fun evening!

While not cheap, Nobu restaurants are known throughout the world. Incredible staff. The food is incredible, unlike any other experience. Try the fresh Uni, which is sea urchin. Worth the experience! We sat at the bar, which I would recommend, as getting a. Reservation is next to impossible depending on the time of year. The bartenders were great to talk... More

The best of any of Nobu's restaurants that I've been to (not that the others are bad). Starting with reservations for twelve, calling us back to accommodate an earlier table, as well as two additional at arrival, along with perfect service. Then there's the food - shishito peppers, tuna tacos, tuna w/fried rice cubes, sashimi salad, yellowtail jalapeño, miso eggplant,... More

We were 3 families and we were pleased overall. The portions are too small to share. We thought that they would be, considering their price. It is not a place to go if you are more than a small family.

Japanese at its best. Fresh, clean, and unique flavors - all the trademarks of Nobu restaurants around the world. The restaurant was packed solid but the staff were efficient and helpful. Every plate was sensational. Not one disappointment but the cod is still the house speciality. A booking is a must, hope to go back before the end of our... More
