Great food, ambience ok.

The food is amazing! The Aspen location has a much better ambience. The Vail property is nice but not as quaint. The black cod is awesome, we also loved the yellowtail sashimi. Go for the food! Our waiter was fun and informative. The hostess had a bit of an attitude.

We dined at Matsuhisa (party of 2) and had ordered pick up a few times. Each time we ordered pick up we were told they had to ask the chef how busy they were, and they automatically added a 13% gratuity to pick up. The staff on the phone were not helpful and often seemed annoyed at a phone order.... More

Beautiful views, amazing sashimi and King Crab Tempura. You are of course paying for all of these things, it is Vail village…I like the mountain casual vibe but felt an aura of sophisticated elegance and refinement, especially for the prep and care of the fish. So treat yourself and just go for it - the on mountain prices for mediocre... More

Not sure what people mean when they say this is not up to Nobu standards elsewhere. We've eaten at several locations and this was absolutely on a par with them. The restaurant is visually striking. The service was very attentive and friendly, from the bartender to the waitress to the serving staff. And the food was Nobu great. Love the... More

Great location, nice outdoor seating area. Large assortment of sushi. All good, some special things - cod, sea bass, yellow tail, onion tempura. Quite pricey, not convinced it was worth it,

Simply the best sushi in the state! The Uni Squash Blossom was AH-MAZE-ZING! Sat in a half booth with an amazing view. Impeccable service!

Our table of eight thoroughly enjoyed our meal AND we would all highly recommend our server John! He was very knowledgeable and made great recommendation - on both the food and beverage side of the meal. Service was prompt and efficient. Selections were at times traditional sushi and other times very unique. Lobster tacos, tuna chips, spinach salad, spicy tune... More

very interesting and high quality venue. Wait staff was attentive and very knowledgeable about some unusual dishes. Recommendations were spot on. Though each dish appeared small, we left feeling quite sated by the quality and quantity. We had a chef's selection of sushi which was delicious, though pricey. View of the mountain was breathtaking We were also here in Mud... More
