They have some really great appetizers here. The entrees are pretty good too, although there are some better options in town. If you are staying at the Four Seasons, I would recommend it. If not, it is OK< but maybe not worth the trip with other good options in Vail Village.

We met friends here we hadn't seen in years. The entire experience was simply OUTSTANDING! We had a quiet table, service was impeccable, the steaks cooked to perfection, the salads and appetizers excellent, topped off with coffee and great desserts. Everyone was extremely pleased. We weren't rushed, we were hardly aware of the other diners. Exactly what we would expect... More

We tried Flame just about two and a half years ago and were sorely disappointed! Nothing has changed! We decided that based on all the glowing reviews on TA, we would give it another try. Service was vastly improved, but it still took forever to get our orders out of the kitchen. My steak was a carbon copy of the... More

Flame is a very good restaurant but the one downside that it has (and it's not a big downside) is that it is in the Four Seasons so there are lots of children (even at later dinner times) so just be aware of that. The food is great and if you go over lunch, have the burger! It's worth it!

We were fortunate to have Nicholas care for us on our visit to Flame. The food was just outstanding - not over-sauced or over-seasoned. Not trying too hard, just good food with great, fresh ingredients - perfectly prepared. The elk corn dogs are a must. The 7X American Kobe tartare is out of this world. We tried tuna tacos and... We ate at Flame (at the Four Seasons) two nights ago in Vail, taking advantage of the special fixed price off-season special (3 courses plus a side for $42). It was a great meal, indeed. I ordered their house Manhattan to sip before ordering which was extremely good. My meal started with the Slow Braised Heritage Pork Cheeks. Didn't know... More

I just want to say that the Four Seasons doesn't mess around because their standards are top notch when it comes to everything, including food. The Flame is a very unique restaurant in Vail that has Bison meat, and I went for the big guns and got the bison ribeye. It's dry-aged so they recommend medium-rare. Brought 7 sauces to... More

Having eaten at restaurants and steakhouses all over the world I have high expectaions and Flame exceeded them. The Dry Aged Lamb is some of the best I have ever eaten and perfectly cooked. The Sauces are an adventure and Chef Jasons Black Pepper Sauce was my personal favorite. Must try sides are the Peas and Carrots along with the... More

The Flame is all about chop house style dining. Even though they don't measure up the great chop houses of New York or Chicago they come pretty darn close. The Flame is located at the Four Seasons Hotel which has a 5 star rating. One would expect superior service and food and they deliver on both. Drink orders were prompt,... More
