Make dining fun again. Four Seasons Resort Vail has reinvented Flame Restaurant with inventive twists on classic steakhouse favorites. Start off by tempting your palate with elk corndogs and a duo of dipping sauces, indulgent sides, such as truffled comte fritters with wild mushroom and bacon ragout, or satisfy your sweet tooth with maple bacon doughnuts with cherry bourbon compote. Of course, our menu still offers a variety of prime steak selections, like the 32-ounce dry-aged Waygu Ribeye, which is cooked to perfection under our 1,800 degree custom broiler, paired with house-made sauces and carved tableside.

Better than last time

Ate here a year ago and it was excellent. Returned during our trip to Vail and was incredibly disappointed. Poor service, poor food. There were only two of us and it was clear to us that as we were not a large group spending lots we were of no interest to the server. Mains were ok and never got to... More

Dear HelenHenn, I am terribly disappointed to hear that you had poor experience. Whether you were a part of a group or just one person, your service and dining experience should be on the same 5-star level. I hope you would be able to provide me further insight so I can address it with our team, my number is (970)... More

I expected much more. The location of the restaurant being in Four Seasons with rooms going for $1200/night, the well appointed interior of the hotel and the handsome space the restaurant is occupying cast a set of certain expectations. However, the 16 oz ribeye was average at best, though the filet was better; the brussel sprouts were over salted (and... More

Dear Strongwinder, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. While I am pleased to hear you liked our restaurant and the service we provided, I am disappointed however that the experience was not quite up to par. We actually pride ourselves on fun dining, not fine dining - so Chanel bag or no bag we want you... More

Had some lamb here and it was excellent. Perfectly cooked which seems to be hard for people these days. Wine list wasn't bad as well.

We went there with 7 guys. Server was very knowledgeable about meat and enjoyed explaining it to you. However, I had to ask him to take our drink order. Forgetting the fact that they forgot my filet Mignon, made up a strange excuse, and then remade it. Finally serving it raw the first time and burning it to a crisp... More

Flame in the Four Seasons in Vail was possibly the best meal we had in the week we were on vacation and one of the best steak restaurants we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying! The service was exceptional and the cuts of meat were just delicious. The wagyu flat iron steak was possibly one of the most flavorful... More

The Four Seasons never fails to disappoint as we experienced with our dinner at Flame. Excellent service, first rate food (amazing meats and an amazing chocolate soufflé), fabulous setting. Wew just loved it and will definitely come back the next time we visit Vail.

Great food. Asked for my scallops (starter) to be served raw instead of seared. No Health & Safety nazis in this kitchen. Just a courteous waitress, an accommodating chef and subsequent food that tasted like it had just been brought out of a Cornish bay. The fillet steaks were cooked to perfection and the wine list wasn't ridiculous. $200 for... More

With a restaurant at the Four Seasons, the service is exceptional! The food was good. Enjoyed their delicious burger (even though they got the order wrong the first time). Definitely a solid place to dine.

If you are a "meat lover," this is the place to go to. The restaurant is large and beautiful. The tables are spread apart giving you plenty of room to enjoy your meal. The wine list is extensive. We all had filet mignon and it was tender and delicious. I recommend the mashed potatoes with bacon and cheese. Save room... More

Dear vacation901, I greatly appreciate your feedback, and must let you know that the maple bacon doughnuts with maple pecan ice cream is my favorite as well. This item was once removed from the menu but there was so much demand for it, we brought it back! I am glad to hear you enjoyed your dinner in our Modern Mountain... More
