Make dining fun again. Four Seasons Resort Vail has reinvented Flame Restaurant with inventive twists on classic steakhouse favorites. Start off by tempting your palate with elk corndogs and a duo of dipping sauces, indulgent sides, such as truffled comte fritters with wild mushroom and bacon ragout, or satisfy your sweet tooth with maple bacon doughnuts with cherry bourbon compote. Of course, our menu still offers a variety of prime steak selections, like the 32-ounce dry-aged Waygu Ribeye, which is cooked to perfection under our 1,800 degree custom broiler, paired with house-made sauces and carved tableside.

Great Service

We heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and decided to try it. It was really busy and service was good even though they brought our steaks cold. They took care of that and made sure that we were happy. There are about six different sauces that come out with steaks. They are good but I... read more

Flame is worthy of a steak house in a Four Seasons and one in Vail at that. The steaks are superb (the regular cuts, forget the hokey, exorbitantly priced specially meats unless you're a Russian oligarch with money to spend on everything and nothing). The 16 ounce sirloin is enough for two grown men to share. Forget the rubs; nice... More

We needed to be in and out quickly and we were a party of 7. They did so with style & grace! Food was amazing, our waiter was awesome and the bottle of Champagne was pretty good too!!!

After a hard day of wonderful skiing my family and I retired to The Flame with thoughts of a wonderfully hearty steak dinner. Knowing that the price is steep i was assuming the quality in the crowded town of Vail at Christmas would be well worth the price of admission. On entering the restaurant the service was very pleasant and... More

From four seasons hotel i expect high price equaling high quality. Unfortunately this was not the case. Hotel is excellent, fame restaurant dissapointment - both breakfast and dinner, the price did not equal the quality.

After an amazing day of snowmobiling, this was the perfect end to our romantic Thanksgiving getaway. My husband made our dining arrangements for the Vail portion of our trip and he was not made aware of the buffet for Thanksgiving, however...we were pleasantly surprised as this was a truly gourmet spread. Roasted butternut squash couscous with dried fruit and herbs,... More

The Flame restaurant is like most in Vail, it offers good food and is rather pricey. The breakfast bar is expensive and offers a normal type buffet, nothing out of the ordinary. If you order off the breakfast menu be prepared to wait a bit. Good food, nice staff and beautiful decor make it a pleasant stop.

We told our waiter Nicholas that we were vegetarians and he said: "Then you are going to love our side dishes!" And we did!! The brussels sprouts were the best we have tasted! The asparagus and spinach cannelloni were just as delicious. The Malbec wine Nicholas recommended was also exquisite! We went back 3 days later, not expecting the experience... More
