If you tire of hotel buffets, then venture out while in Vail Village and try Big Bear Bistro. The omelets are wonderful; the breakfast sandwiches are delicious, but the favorite for our family were the breakfast burritos. They are huge and full of flavor!

This has to be one of the least expensive places to eat in Vail. We ate breakfast here twice. The breakfast sandwiches are yummy! My daughter had a Nutella/Strawberry Crepe and it was amazing also. We stopped for lunch at the Big Bear Bistro during a day trip to Vail Village with our family. Our selections included sandwiches, a salad, and a breakfast burrito. The food was very good and priced reasonably ($8.95 for a gourmet sandwich with lots of meat, $5.95 for a kids sandwich, $10 for a large portion salad). Variety of beverages... More

I always recommend Big Bear Bistro to people who are looking for a quick casual lunch. I love their arugula and strawberry salad and the Pierson sandwich. Wish they had more outdoor seating!

We have eaten here several times and get something different each visit. Sandwiches are huge and many different selections - vegan available.
