Great price for sandwiches very hot to eat inside we ate outside would of given 5 stars but they would not let you take beer or wine outside

We stopped for lunch at the Big Bear Bistro during a day trip to Vail Village with our family. Our selections included sandwiches, a salad, and a breakfast burrito. The food was very good and priced reasonably ($8.95 for a gourmet sandwich with lots of meat, $5.95 for a kids sandwich, $10 for a large portion salad). Variety of beverages... More

I always recommend Big Bear Bistro to people who are looking for a quick casual lunch. I love their arugula and strawberry salad and the Pierson sandwich. Wish they had more outdoor seating!

We have eaten here several times and get something different each visit. Sandwiches are huge and many different selections - vegan available.

Great place to pick up breakfast before hitting the mountains. Employees very helpful in advising the best hikes to do if you aren't familiar with vail.

Great variety! Phenomenal crepes. Breakfast too and served all day. Wine, beer and a few patio tables or nearby benches.

My family and I stopped in Vale on our way from Glenwood Springs to Denver. We found this restaurant through trip advisor and we sure glad we did! It was delicious! I got the "Masterpiece" and I wanted more! Definitely glad we stopped in. If you're looking for a great sandwich this is the place!

Coming down from a long hike, this was just the place we needed. I had the Pearson - one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I'd highly recommend this as a lunch spot in Vail!

We had an excellent lunch at Big Bear Bistro in Vail, on a gorgeous summer day. Four totally different sandwiches, and they were all delicious. My daughter's quote "this is the best sandwich I've ever had, and you need to learn how to make it." Thanks Big Bear, we'll be back!

Perfect place for a quick bite to eat. The food is good but there isn't much seating. That wasn't a problem for us since we wanted to eat at the nearby creek anyway. If you are looking for a quick bite but don't want the typical fast food this is the place to go.
