Go here!! The ride up the gondola is relaxing and romantic. The restaurant atmosphere does not reflect the great service and amazing food. Brian, our server, helped us with our order. The soup and polenta appetizers were excellent! Lamb entree was very tasty, although a bit fatty. Desserts were very decadent!

If you want a reasonably priced, delicious meal overlooking the Rocky Mountains then Bistro 14 should be on your list. The gondola ride up to the restaurant was unique and gave us spectacular views of the mountains (keep an eye out for deer on the slopes below). Don't miss the Lamb Lollipops, Ahi Tuna, Pork Belly Sliders and Fried Chicken.... More

We had dinner at Bistro 14 which was at the top of the mountain. Great Views. I think the restaurant gets its name from how many mountain tops views you can see from the restaurant. The burger we had was the best!

If you can sit outside and enjoy the views of the Holy Cross Wilderness, you will have the best of experiences. The food was fresh and well prepared -- a welcome step up from the "pub food" offered at most of the restaurants. Dining room is small, but food is worth sampling.

The name and the menu of Bistro 14 gave us the impression that it would have a lot nicer of an ambiance than it had. It was a very casual atmosphere. I guess this should have been a given since it is next to a ski lift, but nonetheless. The food was fantastic. We both ordered burgers and I would... More

The food was tasty but overpriced. I ordered Beet Salad which was a regular size bowl $11. We ordered the Crab Dip appetizer $14., it was very good. When our check came, we had been charged twice for every item on the tab. Plus they add in 18% gratuity on all checks without telling us

Several of us went up the gondola in Lionshead to have lunch after visiting the Vail Arts Festival. It was 1:30 when we arrived. We decided it was too windy outside so went inside at Bistro 14. There were several tables full outside but no more than 5 out of 20+ tables were occupied inside. We received our drink order... More

Food choice limited. And ok, not terrible, but not worth the expensive price tag. Service extremely slow. Took far too long to have lunch. Glad I'm not visiting this place again.

Last night of our holiday in Vail. Hoping for something special. By chance a Tuesday evening, and 2 mains ( entrees) for the price of one. Uninspiring menu ie quick cook / pre prepared. Nacho starter - good. Main course x 2 trout. Put on table whilst we still eating the starters. Tasted awful, and no more than 2 mouthfuls... More

Cool atmosphere- great mountaintop dining experience for family. Food was good, but not great. Cocktails were terrific. Beer selection was poor because they were out of most choices.
