Tasty meat options and nice folks

I was here for two meals, a formal business dinner and a breakfast with my wife and infant son. This review focuses on the dinner although the breakfast buffet was nice too. We started with the hummus and artichokes, both of which were very good. For entrees my wife had the trout with which... read more

We have dined here in the past. There have been quite a few menu changes over the years. The food is good with a variety of styles and flavors. My husband had the salmon which was served with polenta. The polenta was rather hard. I had a butternut squash spinach salad for an entree which was a nice mixture of... More

The room is pleasantly set and comfortable , the service is pleasant and prompt, the roasted acorn squash soup was superb. Why 3 star then? the rest of the food was a one star quality. Pork shank was so burned on one side and looked like charcoal, the other side was dry and chewy. The croutons on the Caesar Salad... More

Great for a quick refuel. Chicken wings, mussels and tuna tacos all hit the spot for a snack sized lunch.

Food was good. Varied menu. Pricey but typical of Vail. Service, while pleasant, he seemed rushed and divided into 2 dining room areas. We had a party of 7 adults. Had to watch for him to get water. Then he just came with the check, never asked if anyone wanted coffee or deserts.

I was so excited to see artichoke in the menu. when it came it was only one HALF of a SMALL sized artichoke. was used to getting at least one whole one though two high-end restaurants in Phoenix comes with two or four like at hills tone. I said something to server and he just said that is way it... More

It was our first time here and selected because in close proximity to Marriott Steamside about 1 mile down the road. Restaurant rant was quiet and menu had been selectively shortened to a "summer" listing. We enjoyed a meal that was of good quality in very congenial surroundings. We had sweet potato fries as a starter then pizza and I... More

Great atmosphere with beautiful views. We had the simple sandwiches, but they made them with perfection. Thanks for the great meal.

I hadn't been at Atwater in a long time so my friends and I had dinner there. The staff was friendly and service great. But more important, the food was outstanding.

First time there and it was a very decent meal. The $39 menu is a great deal. I had the pork shoulder and my bride had the Thai noodles with pork. Both very good. We sat on the patio outside which was an added treat. If possible make sure you get served by Tamera. She's awesome and made the meal... More
