The place is dark. The buffet line all looks the same. We arrived before 12: pm. I think most items were not fresh. Pot Stickers, wonton, and egg rolls were not warm. The same goes for entrees. Not a nice Mother's Day experience. WILL NOT BE BACK. People need to stop accepting substandard food.

Good to great Chinese food. There is almost always a veggie dish on the buffet. Love their seaweed salad and their cucumber and chicken salad. Good value for the money!

I went for the first time to this restaurant and it was good but a bit limited in choices. I really like seseme chicken but it was not on the buffet. I had the General Tao but it was not spicy like most restaurants make it. For a small town, it was o.k.

After reading the outstanding reviews we planned our trip around our lunch at Chef Liu's. We did not realize that lunch was a buffet. (We do not like buffets as we find we lack self control!) We arrived just before the buffet was to close down. I ordered off the menu for that reason and was disappointed in my Chicken... More

I have eaten at Chef Liu's numerous times and most have been great. Ate there again this week and enjoyed every bite. They have added a lunch buffet so the place is as popular as ever. If not getting the buffet, I usually get a Volcano dish, either shrimp or chicken, both are great. You will not be disappointed if... More

We were returning from our road trip to Albuquerque and were looking for somewhere to eat. I being the copilot was in charge of this task. After reading the review “The Chef is Back...A Hidden Treasure”. on TA we decided to stop here and we were glad we did. They was a buffet, but we are not much of the... More

OK, I have had various Chinese cuisines on three continents and no one would expect that off of Interstate 25...between Denver and Albuquerque, in picturesque Trinidad, CO you would find a gem....but hang in there...I never wrote a short opinion of anything... I live in New Mexico about 2 hours from Trinidad and along with Rino's which is an Italian... More

Having a chinese friend order for the group certainly helped.i asked for szechuan fish and i was served a gallon jug sized bowl filled with fish and dilute szechuan sauce!(for just $9).i was extremely happy with the taste, hot just like szechuan food is supposed to be.the waitress was genuinely friendly and did not sport a fake smile so typical of... Amazing pot stickers. You need to get them. Staff s always friendly. Outsidw of building a little run down. They no longer serve sushi there but the food is inexpensive and good.
