We used to come for the dinner service which they discontinued, always wanted to try the breakfast. Finally had an opportunity and took the plunge. Service is quick and efficient. Seemed like everybody knew everybody else, and were very welcoming of us. I would agree the gravy does have a strong flour taste to it, but the green chili is... More

The food is good and the staff are friendly. The drawback is that it is small, so get there early in order to get a seat. The green chili is great and so are all the breakfast selections.

A great hole in the wall place for breakfast. The chili relleno is very good. Crispy outside and cooked perfectly inside. The chicken fried steak is also nice and crispy. The gravy is ok. Just wish they had a better sausage gravy to go on top.

We were looking for a place go eat breakfast and came here based on Trip Advisor reviews. It's not fancy, but we're so glad we ate here! Our House and Lisa's omelets were very good and the toast was crispy. The service was excellent. It's a small place and is busy so you might have to wait a bit. We're... More

Not hidden to locals as they were plentiful. We love places like this where the service is personal and great and the food is good. Pancakes were very tasty, the eggs and toast mm mm good. The gal kept our coffees fresh and checked back with us in a timely manner. We hope the lady who was in labor while... More

That is before 1pm. My husband and I enjoyed our omlettes at 12:45 pm. Our server was friendly and it appeared many locals come back to eat the good food. One side note... Parking our pickup and trailer was very challenging!

The food here is great! My husband had the Country Eggs Benedict (chicken fried steak with eggs on English muffins with gravy instead of hollandaise). I had scrambled eggs, toast, hash browns and biscuits with sausage gravy. All of our food was really good! I'm not sure why there are complaints about the gravy - it's a thick, flour based,... More

We had breakfast here on a road trip – my traveling companion had the chile relleno which was good. I however, made the mistake of ordering the chicken fried steak. The steak was the standard Sysco-type breaded meat, which can be good if fried well and served hot and crispy. The gravy that smothered the steak was awful – gummy,... More

I have been eating at Lisa's Place for over 8 years and I am very pleased with the food and the waitresses. I recently had a meeting with Lisa about sponsoring our team "Crosswords for a Cure" in the the Relay For Life, at Webster Lake in September; put on by the American Cancer Society, and Lisa was more than... Best corned beef hash I've had! The food is a great and comes out fast! The place is small, but has a great mom and pop feel! Dee-lish!
