Our experience of Las Montanas was ALMOST ruined by the young fake-blonde Maitre D' who assured us that there were no tables available for the restaurant. And it was "way busy" in there. This was despite the fact that the were 5 or more empty tables clearly visible and it was 8:40pm. Sure enough nobody showed up for the tables.... more

Jan. 2006. This is better than your average Mexican restaurant in the U.S. but wasn't as good as I expected (I eat in Mexico alot). I would eat the pork posole again, would skip the ceviche in cucumber cups (too much avocado - not enough ceviche). Salsa and chips were good and the tamales fairly good but not warm enough.... more
