Awesome Pizza!

Really enjoyed the "Detroit style" pizza. Would certainly recommend. Great spot after a long day of skiing.

The place gets very busy but everyone always seems to be having a great time. Table space can get cramped if you are near the entrance but there are plenty of tables elsewhere. Nice 2-4 top immediately to left as you enter is my favorite. Great pizza, cold beer, reasonable prices

Stopped by this great casual restaurant as we took a break from skiing. It was yummy. The crust on the deep dish rivaled anything you would get from the best pizza places in Chicago. It was a local place so crowd was a mix of regulars and tourists alike. Rest of food was typical bar food.

Being from Chicago, we were skeptical about the pizza in a Colorado ski town, but Brown Dog was very good. We went on a Saturday night and it was very crowded. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. Don't go here if you're looking for a quiet, romantic spot. They fit a lot of tables into a small space.... More

Good lunches and quick snacks are here--but it is somewhat crowded and chaotic. All part of the experience, I suppose, but not a place for privacy or talking. Good for quick in and out.

Pizza is pizza right? Yes and no, the brown dog has Chicago, Detroit and American pizza on the menu along with pasta dishes. The pizzas are generic, however, the atmosphere and the service in this restaurant is great. Unlike another restaurant we went to we were not given our entree whilst still eating our appetisers.

We ate here our first night on a ski trip and it was a perfect start. The appetizers were great! Had the eggplant parm that really stood out. The Detroit style pizza was some of the best pizza anywhere. It is a thicker crust and they put Parmesan cheese on the edges which makes it really good. The pizza is... More

As a first time visitor to both Telluride and the USA we were looking for your standard all American pizza place/sports bar to enjoy some good food after a few drinks at the Sheridan bar (town the road). Must say I was not disappointed, although the service was slightly slow (we were a party of 6) I would highly recommend... More

Great pizza horrible service and takes way too long for the food. Been going for years but never changes. They have no clue how to run a restaurant.

January 2016: Made two trips to Brown Dog Pizza, one for dinner, the other for lunch. Pizza one time, sandwich the next. Great food, great atmosphere.
