Description: The Last Dollar Saloon, known affectionately for over three decades by Telluride locals as "The Buck" can be found at the southeast corner of Main Street (Colorado Avenue) and Pine Street. This corner is the absolute geographic heart of Telluride's historic Victorian downtown - all roads in Telluride go north/south/east/west from here...Now in its 35th year of consecutive operation, the Last Dollar Saloon continues as a fixture of the downtown Telluride social and nightlife scene. Drawing on over fifty years of collective Telluride bar experience (Swede-Finn Hall, West End Tavern), your proprietors Michael Lee, Moussa Konare & Jay Raible with a capable stable of Telluride's most experienced bartenders continue the great traditions that have made the Last Dollar Saloon the favorite "cocktail time" destination for Telluride residents and visitors. All patrons must be 21+ and prepared to show valid ID.

Affectionately known as "The Buck" by locals, this is a pretty typical saloon, with good beer and fun people. Another must do while making the Telluride circuit. People will usually start their night here, as well as end it here

At first the bartenders seem cold and aloof...The owner works there and he was full of local history and knowledge and turned out to be a really nice guy! This place is old, and the ceilings are original as is the wood floor. There's a photo at the front of the original bar It's interesting to think of the history... More

Very average service. A couple bartenders can be quite rude and don't like to serve everyone equally.

I wish I could make this up. My wife and I went into this bar tonight to have a beer. She was offered a sample of a local beer, which she accepted. It came in a shot glass with a half chewed lime from the last person to drink out of the shot glass. She didn't realize it was not... More

Recently visited this Saloon. Accidentally left purse at the table, and didn't realize it until the next day. The fine bartenders here and honest locals kept it safe until the next day. This is why I loved Telluride and the Last Dollar Saloon!!

Great local's hangout, yet welcoming to tourists. Hannah was a great bartender and shared lots of local info with us. We will definitely be returning to "The Buck" on our next Telluride trip.

As a fellow business owner in Telluride, who has resided in this quaint town for a decade now, I had to finally report on a wonderfully old-fashioned bar, where locals have traditionally loved to have had their Happy Hours and their Late Night Last Drinks for decades. This bar was taken over a couple of years ago by Michael Lee...previous... More
