Great local place

At the recommendation of Sterling (a charming local dude), we made a visit to Poacher’s for lunch and a break from the slopes. Bar had a fun, casual atmosphere. Good, cold beer selection. We had the Chili Mac & Cheese and the Reuben. Both were quite tasty and hit the spot on a cold day. Service... read more

We wanted a quick bite to eat before heading down the mountain. We ordered the BLT, chicken fingers, grilled cheese, and spinach artichoke dip. All the dishes were fresh and tasted fine. The drinks were good. The service was a bit slow despite the establishment being more than half empty. We went at lunch, though it seems like this place... More

Looking for a quick bite and some beer is what you'll find here. Definitely a local hangout..bartenders chilled with their friends and not much attention to other patrons. We ordered fish & chips and chicken philly which were good. Not much attention from the bartender/waitress.

We were 6 and seated in the rear... Got Rear seating service... and simply mediocre bar food... Can't even remember what I ate.

We at at Poachers a couple of times during our stay. It is a great place just near Gondola and Chondola for lunch. The San Juan Steak sandwich was very good and the homemade Bloody Mary mix was very tasty.

Heard great things about the bar so we gave it a try. The bar seems to be split into two two; the original bar and then an extension on the side with some booths and tvs on the wall. The bar was busy (a good thing) when we went so we ended up sitting in one of the booths towards... More

The sweet potato fries were wonderful - hot and freshly cooked; crisp and sweet. Much better than the waffle fries.

This is were the seasonal locals hang out. We met a former resort employee during our travels and they brought us here. It was a big reunion for her and we were made to feel very welcomed also. Good vibe and good drinks.
