As in our previous experience a year ago, once again Allred's significantly exceeds expectation. My husband had the elk which was done to perfection, my filet was also very delicious. Our waitstaff was Wade and he went over and above to provide exceptional service. Wade was very personable and did everything to insure our meal and experience were great. We... More

We have been coming to Allred's for the past 6 years. In the early years menu was primarily your basic prime rib and steak. Two years ago a new manager took over. Mario has totally revamped the menu adding such dishes as veal scalaopini, bouboun marinated elk and New Zealand lamb chops and at least one fish dish. deserts have... More

We come to Telluride every year for the film festival. This year we ate at Allreds and came back two nights in a row because the food, the service and everything was outstanding! From Mike, the wonderful and warm chef who shared recipes with us, to Stephen and to those whose names we did not get but thought were first... More

I visited Allred's with a business colleague and two clients. We had an enjoyable meal. The view of Telluride is fantastic. The food is on the pricey side as our bill for four people was $314.79 before tip (that did include alcohol). I had the veal which was very good. Others had the salmon and halibut and they also enjoyed... More

Allred's is a fine dining restaurant perched up at the top of St. Sophia Station on the gondola ride between Telluride and Mountain Village. We have often thought about stopping in for a drink at sunset and finally did so. We had the unique and very special opportunity for a personal wine tasting with the sommelier one early summer evening.... More

My boyfriend surprised me with a reservation to Allreds. We had a romantic table in the corner and were able to savor our time together. We don't drink but we never felt rushed or pressured like some restaurants treat customers who are not sipping wine or cocktails. Everyone was attentive and the food was very good.

One thing no one can beat with Allred's is the view. I first sat in the bar with my SO and ordered a bottle of fine wine from their great list looking over Telluride. We were then seated in the dining room with an equally wonderful view. The service is fantastic and friendly. Our dinners were great...hubby had elk which... More

The top of the gondola provides a beautiful view and our favorite spot for a sunset drink and appetizer at the bar or dinner overlooking town of telluride. It's pricey as you would assume from the location but it warrants it. The food is excellent. Worth mentioning in our experience: the elk, the port chop, the mezze appetizer and the... More
