We dined here our last night in Telluride and couldn't have been more pleased. After watching the gorgeous sunset on the upstairs patio, we travelled down to the beautiful stone-walled cellar like restaurant and sat by the windows in the bar. The view cannot be beat. The fireplace and cozy decor fit perfectly with the location. one standout dish was... more

Excellent steak, fast service, wine is good but expensive. The atmosphere is good too. Get ready for a good experience but an expensive one. more

We (4 of us) had dinner last week at the chef's table. One of the best meals and enjoyable dinners I can remember. Chef (Brian) found out what we liked and didn't like, and then created excellent food -- very interactive. Waiters and all staff very professional and friendly. We left stuffed, but happy. Highly recommended! more

Great food and beautiful views. wine list is very pricey. They sat us next to a ton of kids who were running all over the place. After ordering $150 bottle of wine, they rushed us out in under an hour. We like to take our time and relax and enjoy the evening when spending the amount of money we did. more

We dined with a group of five adults and all of us raved about the atmosphere and food. It was so delicious and the perfect dining experience. For starters, I had the mushroom soup - great. Other members of our party had the oysters or foie gras. Both stated they were outstanding. The organic greens salad was very light and... more

The reviews I read couldn't be further from my experience. Every element of our dinner was above expectations. The hostess and coat check girl were both pleasant and friendly. We were quickly seated in a romantic corner with window view and promptly given drinks. The waiter was very attentive but didn't hover. His timing was excellent. And the food! Our... more

“we were seated, then we were rushed. they brought out our kids food, then told us we could not eat, because they were closing the kitchen. We got to go boxes, and boxed the kids food up. We were charged for food and drinks that we did not even get. When we complained, they all forgot how to speak english.... more

The selling point for Allred's is the view, but since it is only open to the common man in the evenings (private club only for lunch) you won't see too much. Also they sat us far away from the window. That being said the place has great atmosphere and attentive, knowledgeable staff. The food was pretty good: I did not... more

Well, the build up was there, the ride in the gondola, the fancy wine cave entrence, but once seated in the Barn like dining room looking at the windows (the view is not much at night) it all goes down hill. Livign in Napa Valley I am used to excellent food, service, wine, and expect to pay for it (which... more
