You know how restaurants with great views frequently have less than stellar food? That was not the case here. The food was outstanding, and the view was breathtaking. The service was impeccable. This was the best meal we had in Telluride.

In the early evening, after skiing, we decided to take the gondola to the Allred's on the mountain and have a drink and a snack. The gondola ride was fun but keep in mind, heading down was cold so make sure you're well bundled for the night ride down. Food and Drink: We initially planned on just ordering drinks and... More

We had lunch one afternoon here while skiing at Telluride. There's a convenient "locker" area where you can leave your ski boots and get some comfy slippers. The views from the restaurant are spectacular. We had a very large group, and I wish that we had been assigned two servers (we had a reservation, so they knew the size of... More

Skipped Allred’s on our last visit to Telluride. It’s location at the top of the Gondola overlooking the magical town of Telluride screamed tourist trap, and bad food. Reviews were more positive than expected (thank you Trip Advisor) & decided to give it a shot. Soooo glad we did! First, the only negative. The staff has apparently been trained to... More

Views here can't be beat. Service was good, atmosphere was good, & the food met my expectations. I thought everything was reasonably priced as well. I started with the caesar salad, it wasn't anything to rave about, just your typical caesar salad. For dinner, I had the chicken with au jus, asparagus & mashed potatoes. Needless to say, I cleaned... More

we dinned here with our family. We had a table for 10 including our young kids. They were very accommodating to our kids request ( split filet, etc) I loved the beef Carpaccio and the veal, so good. We have been coming back to this restaurant every time we are in town to ski in the last 6 years and... More

Ummm who doesn't love truffle fries!? Is it me or is that the preferred seasoning of Telluride? No complaint, truffles rock! And, so does having apri ski at Al Reds bar with a stunning view of downtown T Ride! What sucks about it? Their carpeting that looks like it was lifted from a tired casino in Missouri. That's all that... More

We had such a lovely experience at this restaurant. The view is insane, we went early - first seating at 5:30 because we had our 2 children with us. This was the best time to go because the view was perfection. I was unsure if they catered to small kids, but they did everything to help keep the kids happy... More

Always a great apres scene, can never go wrong with the mussels. Stopped by another evening after dinner for a drink and the pianist was fantastic. Great covers with his own twist. And the view. You can't stop looking out the window, day or night. A must visit.
