Be sure you're taking it easy...

I came into La Marmotte on a Tuesday night... alone. Attention to get me seated was a bit slow, but I was in no rush. They had a decent crowd, but it was not super packed. I dined on the rabbit, which was delicious and I also had the molten chocolate cake for dessert. All yummy, but the cake... read more

Excellent food and a romantic and very cozy atmosphere….my French ex husband, who is very fussy when it comes to food, give this an enthusiastic thumbs up.

My husband and I arrived without reservations but it was late so they were able to accommodate us right away. Sat inside as it was raining. Charming atmosphere. We both enjoyed the coc au vin and the service was prompt.

Ate here on a Friday night with my wife and friend while on vacation in Telluride. The food and wine list here are fantastic. We started with the charcuterie board which was great. We then had a variety of dishes. I had the short rib (scrumptious), my wife had the chicken and my fiend had the New York Strip. Everyone... More

We planned our day around lunch at La Marmotte, which is a great French-ish dinner place, but serves lunch only on Fridays. Fridays from 11-4 is also when they have a great foodie street market in town, just a block away. Got there at noon, sat right down outside under the awning. It filled up fast, and I'm not sure... Wish we could have tried the food. We asked to sit outside since the inside seemed "stuffy" as far as air quality. The waitress took our name and cell phone number. She told us about a 30 minute wait for an outside table for 2. There was no place to sit at the bar nor outside so we went elsewhere... More

We were in Telluride over the 4th of July weekend, so getting into any of the better restaurants was nearly impossible. We waited to go to this place until Sunday when the town was very quiet. Even so, there were no tables available inside, so we were seated on the patio. It has rained earlier, so that's probably the only... More

I cannot say enough good things about this place. For starters the service was impeccable. Then my husband and I ordered a few starters and were wowed by them. Entrees same thing....liked so much that we stayed for dessert. My takeaway is if you are coming to Telluride and looking for a wonderful high end meal this is a must... More

Starving around 5 pm, no time to eat during the bluegrass festival, stopped in with a small dog, quiet, well behaved and tired, they let us keep her outside the railing, bread divine, coq-a-vin delicious, a little pricey, but great atmosphere and staff love their pets, could have been in France with their pleasant accommodation of pets. Just one comment,... More
