We went for lunch one day and sat outside. We both thought what we bought including the chips and salsa were very average. Liked our Mexican restaurants at home much better. Haven't decided to go back, since there are so many wonderful restaurants in Telluride.

The burrito was good, but the sides were different and weren't my favorite. The guacamole and salsas were very good. I wish they had more outdoor seating where there was an option to drink.

On a road trip through Southern Colorado, ate at many places and this was our least favorite. Based on the positive reviews we had higher hopes for an amazing experience. We had four dishes, all okay. Cost of meal was not a great value as described in many reviews as "affordable." Positive: chips and salsa bar, fresh and good variety.... More

Was passing through Telluride on our vacation for just an afternoon and met up with some friends who were also in town and we settled on this spot for lunch. Food was very good, including free chips and salsa like in most Mexican restaurants. I did have to search out my own refill back at the counter (they were pretty... More

We weren't expecting to walk up to a counter to order our meal, but the guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent!! The portions were big too. I had a vegetarian burrito with beans, cheese and rice with both green and red sauces--awesome. My husband had enchiladas--one with pork, the other with chicken. He said... More

We've heard from numerous folks how good Cocina is, and finally gave it a try and it was a huge let down. First off the restaraunt is tightly packed. The food is very bland tasting and extremely too hot, and thats just the red sauce. The green sauce is supposedly even hotter. Tge staff and service are good although it's... More

La Cocina uses the freshest organic ingredients. Excellent menu with daily specials. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. In warm months, the patio is a pleasant place to dine.

We stayed two nights in Telluride and chose to eat twice here. The guacamole is awesome and the green chili is delicious. Try the vegetarian omelet. They also have a do-it-yourself salsa bar with fantastic fixings. The prices are very reasonable--especially for a town where dinner prices can be quite high. We will definitely be going back.

The food is good. We ordered a chicken burrito with green sauce and chile rellano and were very happy with both items. The guacamole was huge and we even had left overs. I would recommend this place although I did think it was a bit pricey for what we received.

Had a breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon and cheese. All organic and my plate was empty if that tells the story. $11 with an Izzy, potatoes, beans and a hell of a view.
