Expensive but good food and nice atmosphere

The food-runner should have been our server as he was more engaged and great at customer service - I hope he gets a promotion! The food was quite expensive ($20+ entrees), but the blackened tofu and gado gado was delicious. Since Telluride is so expensive the prices were on par, though they should... read more

I really enjoyed the new menu options - just what Honga's needed! Though the space is rather large, it's inviting and intimate, and the atmosphere is welcoming and chic at the same time. The perfect spot for a leisurely meal with friends, the servers never rushed us and our group was able to enjoy great conversation. My mouth is watering... More

The new menu is great! I loved the Kobe Beef Carpaccio appetizer and the Pad Thai was delicious. Don't forget to order a Mojito, the best in town! Our waitress was very helpful with our ordering and our group had a lovely time with great service. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Telluride.

The new Ownership just took over the restaurant on July 1st and is working through a transition with staff and a new menu. If you have not been to Honga's in the past two week I would encourage you to stop in and experience the difference. Great service fabulous dishes coming out of the kitchen, and a new great sushi... We always order a selection of dishes at Honga's, and share them around, so that everybody can enjoy the Blackened Tofu, or the Shrimp Pad Thai. Ask about the daily specials. However, we heard they are changing owners, hope the tradition of delicious Asian food continues.

I have been to many Asian Restaurants. We ordered a lot like always. The quality was not there. The wontons were the worst I ever tasted. My son did enjoy his spicy tuna roll but was not worth the money. I would not go back and the family agrees.

Delicious dinner of small plates - Highly recommend Kale salad, any of the potstickers, chile fried calamari and shrimp. Perfect serving size.Greeted by incredibly friendly hostess, waitstaff was attentive and fun, and the tall line-cook with the pony tail is adorable. Will go back again.

Honga's old restaurant was Telluride's best. Intimate, high energy, great food, great service. Her new restaurant lacks that combination. The food is still good. Great bar. Good location on the main street.
