We had the wild boar stew, rabbit stew and the wild mushroom soup! All were exceptional! The setting doesn't get any better and the staff were all outstanding!

This place is not to be missed, although it is hard to get to! You have to ski up to it. It's an adorable little outdoor place with incredible views! You cannot have a better view than this. The French atmosphere was beautiful and classy (complete with complimentary sunglasses to wear since it's so bright and wool blankets to wrap... More

Wonderful food and exceptional atmosphere. Mountainside, outdoor dining. Six of us had lunch and everyone's meals were delicious. Our service was great.

This restaurant sets a very high standard for on-mountain dining. The food is excellent and the mountain setting incomparable. If you are skiing in Telluride, dropping in here for a lunch is a must-do.

We had lunch twice at the Bon Vivant and really enjoyed it each time. You eat outside with great views of the mountains. The food is very good, especially the French onion soup, and the wine selection is decent. It's a nice place to take a break during the skiing.

Best place to grab a quick lunch on the mountain. Yes, it's expensive, but what slope side restaurant isn't? Get there early to beat the lines.

All I have to say is that this place is the coolest place on planet earth. The Foie Gras rocks epically with a bottle of Krug at 11,000'. Every time I visit it is a pleasurable experience. The question that keeps going through my head is how on earth do they operate this place being so remote on the mountain... More

tried to emulate a French style restaurant ,badly. Poor service (copying the French I guess),appalling food and the hot chocolate was the worst I have ever had ,it was practically without any milk. It isn't the Alps so why try to be ? Celebrate what you have ,fab views ,great snow try honest food and service too.

Last day of a week in Telluride so we planned lunch at this spectacular location. Had to wait about 45 mins for a table so eventually sat down around 2.30 pm. Upside was a complimentary glass of cider while we waited. This was last bit of good customer service. Our order took way too long and no apology for the... More

The restaurant on top of the mountain 13,000 ft. Accessible only by ski lift. Outside sitting with amazing mountain views. Great onion and mushroom soups. Delicious french food and perfect chocolate crapes. Perfect after skiing.
