This is the best restaurant in Telluride

Not only is this the best restaurant on the mountain, but it's really the best in Telluride. The French onion soup is up there with the best in the country, and the rest of the menu items are spectacular as well. A beautiful setting and friendly service complement the food. It's not a light... read more

I don't write many reviews but everything about Bon Vivant is fantastic. The view from the open deck, the staff, and food. When I say everything on the menu is great. I mean it. Ate there each of my ski days and my friend and I ripped through the menu. Oh. Nice cocktail list and wines by the glass. Looking... More

Breath taking views while you enjoy a delicious berry crepe and sparkling water in a comfortable ski top venue. Super nice wait staff, real dishes, linen napkins, and a genuine appreciation of your presence. People enjoy working here and it shows with great service.

Finally got a chance to go to Bon Vivant. Had been told about the mushroom soup. Wow. We also had the French Onion with the braised short rib followed by a crepe for dessert. It's pricy, but how often do you get to eat a delicious lunch in a setting like this?

Spectacular open air 360 views. Much less crowded than other spots on the mountain, not sure why. Prices are somewhat reasonable, considering it's on mountain dining in one of the most expensive towns in Colorado. French onion soup is fully dialed. Impressive wine selection. Knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff.

Lovely to have a little French Bistro on the slopes! The restaruant is quaint and a little eclectic which makes it a fun experience. I thought it was a nice touch that they supplied sunglasses so you can avoid going snow blind once you take the ski goggles off. Food was simple and well prepared. Nice spot to spend an... More

It was a very cold day and the place had the umbrella up and the heaters on. We felt bad for the staff as they worked under very cold conditions. We started off with hot chocolate which was very good, but the cost was $8. Next, we ordered crepes which were just ok. The filling seemed a bit on the... More

Like alpino vino, this place goes after the folks with very deep pockets, and don't know or care about the value of a dollar. To me it's obscene what they asking for their food and deverages.

Had lunch with a friend here today. We had the Le Bonaparte and french onion soup with braised short rib. Both were fantastic! I also loved their unique completely outside setting - we had great views in every direction while we ate.
