When is comes to French food, I always require a higher standard. Although the food was good, the duck breast and lamb entrees together with the red beet salad were served swimming in sauces/dressing. The molten chocolate cake desert was outstanding! Intimate ambiance, probably better for couples or friends (we were with our younger children). A little on the expensive... More

Reservation time honored, appetizer never delivered, entree order mixed up but food was excellent. We had pasta, burgers, & kid's pasta plus desserts. I think they needed another waitstaff....We will give the place another try next year.

After reviewing several restaurant menus in Telluride, we kept coming back to the menu at Flavor. We're so glad we decided to try it. Our dinner experience was great. The staff was very friendly and made us feel so welcome. Ashley, our waitress, was wonderful. Eric, the owner, was very friendly and came by a few times to chat and... More

I ordered a burger made from meat from some ranch in Wyoming. OHHH Baby it was delicious and juicy and rare topped with cheese. The burger came with a huge side order of fries. I had a cup of the chili which was fantastic. The chili gave a nice kick after it went down. My husband ordered some vegetarian meal... More

We stumbled across Flavor Telluride after we could not get into some of the more "prominent" places. We are soooo glad we did! Everyone loved their orders (the mussel app was great!) and the service was very attentive to our "picky" 11 and 13 yr. old girls.

We have made a reservation in person a day before. Upon arrival the same hostess could not find it. Eventually we were seated all five of us at the round small table. We did not get the menus. I do not question the previous reviews but maybe just that day went wrong. I will not list what we have ordered... More

The place couldn't be uglier and to top it off they have a TV running in the corner. And the night we were there one poor waiter had to manage the whole place. But the food was quite wonderful. We had the mussels and a perfectly cooked pasta covered in vegetables. It's pricey considering the ambience but not pricey for... More

My trout was over fried and sautéed vegetables greasy. The shrimp on the pasta were fresh and crunchy but too salty; overall a little blah dish. French fries were hot and crispy--very good. Server was friendly but didn't seem to really care.

Eric, the chef/owner is an amazing wizard when it comes to culinary experiences...just had his heirloom tomato soup with truffle infused olive oil drizzled over the top of super fresh micro greens...he truly is a genius! Don't miss his specials, mountain trout in season, what ever is seasonal, he will entice you to return just to see what he will... More
