We took the gondola to Mountain Village to have lunch at Tomboy Tavern. We heard about it on a hike from some locals. They said the Chicken Pot Pie was delicious. When I looked at the menu I was torn because there were so many options I wanted to try, but couldn't leave Telluride without trying the pot pie. Such... More

We stopped in at the Tomboy Tavern after dinner at another restaurant in Mountain Village to watch the baseball playoffs and have a few cocktails. We sat at the bar and truly enjoyed the friendly bar staff and exceptional customer service. We didn't eat here, but wish we had based on other reviews. Tomboy Tavern is conveniently located in Mountain... More

Since we visited in off season there wasn't much open in Mountain Village but luckily we came across Tomboy Tavern. Friendly staff, good food, fun atmosphere. We ate here twice and had great burgers, delicious truffle fries. The squash soup was excellent as was the chicken pot pie. Good consistent food.

We ate here one night by default--everything else was closed. We had a chicken pie and shrimp tacos. Both were reasonably priced, especially for Mountain Village. The portion sizes were on the smaller side and food was decidedly good. I would definitely recommend this place for those on a budget. If you are hungry, try ordering a burger or something... More

The food, especially the chili and Caesar salad are to die for. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. We ate 2 nights there. The staff were wonderful and made sure we got what we felt like at the time. If it was dinner we got lunch items. Very accommodating.

The Tomboy Tavern is located in the Mountain Village core. It has a very Telluride/Old Mining Town feel. The atmosphere of the Tomboy Tavern is casual and very family friendly. We were very surprised at the high quality of the food. The Steak Caesar Salad as well as the Trout were exquisite and light. The Brisket plate was more hearty... More

Bad food and even worse service. Waitress had a real attitude. Served us the incorrect wine, Chardonnay vs. Pinot Grigio but refused to acknowledge her mistake. Overall, I would recommend getting on the gondola and going into town for better food, atmosphere and service.

The food was wonderful!! We had a burger and a brisket with truffle fries. The service was good, we were in during shift change so it's always a little chaotic. It appeared to be a hotspot for locals because everyone seemed to know each other. I'd be curious to see this place at night as we were only there for... More

While there were a few interesting mining antiques for decor, it was tastefully done. The fireplace with sofa was tempting, but there are also high topped tables, booths, and ample bar seating. They had a good selection of Colorado craft beers. I had the flatiron steak salad. It was perfect. The generous steak was tender and juicy., and the greens... More
