best pizza on the mountain

We travel to Telluride regularly and had never been here, we actually ended up at La Pizzeria because Elk Pizza ran out of cheese. I think it is overlooked because it is not right off of lift 4, but I will never overlook it again. The inside is not much to look at, folding chairs and plastic... read more

After being seated for dinner and asked if we were ready to order, I politely asked if there were any gluten free pasta options on the menu. The waiter promptly replied 'we don't believe in gluten free for our menu'. Our reply was that we have eaten in many Italian restaurants around the world including Rome where there is at... More

Interesting little place. The place itself isn't much to speak of, folding banquet tables with plastic table clothes and plastic folding chairs. It looks like the operation is done on a shoestring budget but I gotta say the pizza is delicious. Not only is the pizza good but the waiter is a great guy who takes care of you well.... More

We brought a large group of people here for pizza. Everyone enjoyed the pizza and had a good time. Their pizza is the thin crust variety and not the least bit greasy. We had ordered several of their specialty pizzas. My favorite was the plain cheese. (Which I consider to be a mark of a good pizza place.) They're located... More

January 16, 2015 Had a wonderful meal at this quaint little restaurant in Mountain Village (Telluride). The staff was very attentive and personable. Felt like I was dining with the family. The pizzas were excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. Will definitely go back!

It seems like everyone misses this part of La Piazza (perhaps assuming it is closed?), ending up in other Pizza places - paying more for not-so-good pizza. Of course, this is a Italian place, so do not expect 'meat lovers'.

My wife and I were here on a Wednesday night, ate outdoors while listening to the live music in the nearby park. The servers and staff worked very hard to accommodate. Was a very fun night.

La Pizzeria was an affordable option in Mountain Village that had great food! We sat on the patio and listened to the Wednesday night live music while eating lasagna. My boyfriend and I had different kinds of lasagna and both were fabulous! We also had some gelato for dessert. Overall, it was a great experience.

As above and don't forget the great Italian family of FAMILY and staff that welcome us year in and year out. Love the sport on TV without feeling like a noisy sports bar.

The restaurant was wonderful, they had gelato as well as delicious pizza. The man running the restaurant was incredibly nice and made sure that everything we needed was taken care of immediately. The one problem was that the pizza that we received was larger than we expected. I would recommend that if you are going to the restaurant with any... More
