Great Beer

Our first dinner in Telluride was at Smugglers. The beer was great, the food and service was good. We had thoughts of returning during this trip bit wanted to give some other restaurants a try.

Definitely worth dropping in if you're in Telluride. We asked the locals where to get the best burger in town, and they pointed us to Smugglers. I couldn't have been more satisfied with my meal. Fresh avocado on a local beef burger is a delicious combination, and it's a meal that I'll be relishing for a long time to come.... More

The location was great, right across from the library with lots of on street parking nearby. We easily found a spot. The interior has a ton of charm and the patio seating has a beautiful view. Our waiter was fantastic from beginning to end. He made several recommendations that were spot on. We had the heirloom tomato and mozzarella appetizer,... More

Pretty good food, pretty good service, and a pretty good price with your typical brew pub ambiance. Exactly what you look for in a brew pub.

Came here with friends for dinner. Very laid back - typical of Telluride. The real treat was the beer sampler - six excellent beverages selected with the aid of our server who was obviously a beer maven. The salmon burger was quite good also.

We visited Smugglers Brew Pub on the eve of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. To say that the place was packed is a bit of an understatement. Still, the wait for a table was less than 15 minutes. Our waiter was friendly and courteous, but obviously over committed. There were 4 of us and only 3 water glasses. a requested 4th... More

This place had a very warm atmosphere and the food (including vegetarian- wild mushrooms on toast) was really tasty.

This dinner was very affordable, and beers are 5$, and they have 18 varieties brewed in the basement which rotate seasonally and were all excellent. The portions are enormous and the place became very crowded later in the night.

Stopped by the Smugglers Brew Pub for lunch and some beers while visiting Telluride. Smugglers has both indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated promptly and quickly placed our beer order. I had their Expresso Porter which was a nice brew and a well prepared burger. If you are looking for some nice brew and good food served in an... More

Have been to the Smuggler before and decided to return to see what was new and interesting. It remains a busy and friendly place with an active bar and some outdoor seating. It was very busy when we were there and there was some confusion in getting our drinks. When everything got sorted out we ended up with two very... More
