Lives up to the hype

We were a walk-in but were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. Absolutely loved the bar staff - friendly, energetic, engaging - and they mix a mean Diablo. We has several of these cocktails, the chilli and lime giving them a real kick. The clientele was young and hip ( and then there was... read more

Went There for my wife's birthday - we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for our food and finally got it after threatening to walk out. Then, we were surprised to get the check to learn that the scallop special was $26 for 2 scallops! In terms of full disclosure, we did receive an apology and they comp'd us 1... More

One word: AMAZING! We checked this place out on our last night in Telluride and were not disappointed. The food was fantastic (we tried at least one thing from each section of the menu), they had our favorite wine- Albarino (hard to find), and the service was great! Just make sure, like everyone else has said, make a reservation! It's... More

My wife and I visited this pace with a good friend while on vacation in Telluride. It is a really small spot so you need to get a reservation. We sat at the bar for drinks and appetizers on a Wednesday night. Signature drinks are great (order the Grapefruit!). The brussel sprouts are a great appetizer as are the kobe... More

We visited There a couple nights ago. They serve small plates and have some very interesting cocktails including "jam" drinks-basically a spoonful of your choice of jam mixed with your choice of liquor-vodka, tequila, rum or whiskey. Sounds odd, but makes for a flavorful drink. The small plates we tried were varied-oysters, prawn and Kobe beef skewers, roasted Brussels sprouts,... More

If you have a chance to email them a day ahead of time for reservations, it will make life a lot easier. But, as others have noted, they will do their very best to find you a spot if at all possible. The servers/bartenders obviously love their jobs and are quick to share the way the menu works (small bites... More

So grateful for the reviews on this great place. Edge of town, unassuming, small & bustling spot. But the tapas headliner is misleading--their entrees & salad options are great. Lucky to get late reservation during jazz fest (best to do by email ahead). Host/servers/bartenders fun & knowledgeable. We were a little early so we started @ 'the aspen table', a... More

My husband and I did not have reservations so we began our evening in the standing section before the bartenders found us a place at the bar. The service was awesome Very friendly and helpful staff. The cocktails were inventive and tasty--try the Diablo! We started with some lettuce wraps and finished with the Kobe over greens--unbelievable. Overall experience was... More

A local bartender said There was "good but kind of big city"...while the menu and drinks are VERY ecclectic and "big city" mature, do not fear...the vibe from the bartenders (we sat at bar), servers and chefs are super laid back and inviting. This place reminded us of our favorite neighborhood bar/restaurant back home in Atlanta. We loved this place... More

Great place to go with friends and have a small bite to eat. Everything is very reasonably priced for this town, and the food was amazing. Ordered a few of the small bites, then got two sharable entres. We got the muscles, and the kobe beef salad. Both were better than similar dishes we had in Europe. Definitely a great... More
