Affectionately known as B-I-T, we are Telluride's favorite spot for fast breakfast, sandwiches, pizza, and moderate priced dining. We're newly rebuilt 1/2 block south of Main Street at 127 S. Fir. Look for the big red corrugated building. We're fast, and can handle even the crowds during the big festivals with only a few minutes in line.

Baked in Telluride (known as BIT) is one of the local favorites. If you sit at one of their tables using their free wifi, you will see the whole town cross the threshold at some point during the day. As their name implies, they have fabulous baked goods (try their version of the cronut, called the 'dosant'). But they also... More

Baked in Telluride is the place to go for good, home-made food and goodies and not spend $300 for 2 at a fancy Telluride restaurant. Go there for coffee bagels, muffins and breads in the AM, sandwiches, soup, pizza, cookies, brownies, sweets for lunch and specials for dinner. Conveniently located in town a few blocks from the Gondola to Mountain... More

This place rocks! It's cafeteria-style and not at all fancy, but boy oh boy are the pastries delicious!

We ate here a couple of times during our week long stay in Telluride. The food was pretty good each time. One thing we did appreciate was that they were having a buy one get one free pizza deal during the time we were there. This made the food an excellent value. Service was okay, certainly not bad but this... More

Stopped by in the afternoon after a day of shopping downtown. Got 2 for one pastries - best deal in Telluride. Not an advertised special, found out from cashier when paying for 3 items. Raised donuts light and tasty. A little dry but figure that's because it was late in the day. Blueberry muffin - moist with lots of blueberries,... More

We grabbed a quick b'fast here on our way out of town, and overdid it on all the pastries! But they were all really good and did not disappoint. I can't speak to a sit-down meal or service, but the food was great and there were a ton of options.

I ate here almost every morning I was on vacation. Great local place with great local flare and great pastries. This will be my breakfast spot every time I go to Telluride.

But, and there is always a but, while it was awesome they had gluten free backed goods, all the ones we tried were unfortunately rather dry and bland, maybe they don't sell enough. But, keep trying Baked in Telluride, keep trying. Generally the prices are good though and the non=gluten free foods did look to be very awesome.
