We had breakfast at the Butcher and the Baker a few days ago, and it was very good. The cinnamon roll had great texture. It was flaky like a croissant. We also had a great chocolate croissant. The barista seemed like she had better things to do than be friendly, but the food made up for it.

The food is good but breakfast selection is ridiculously small. It's literally either a burrito or a English muffin. They have small stuff like bagels and oatmeal but only the 2 main choices that come with no side.

They have the best breakfast sandwiches, made on homemade sourdough English muffins. The food was fresh with local ingredients made in house. The chocolate croissants were amazing. I definitely will be returning on my next visit.

Who knew a small place like this could provide such an amazing lunch. The turkey sandwich was real turkey breast, not packaged lunch meat. The bread was fresh and tasty. The real treat was the tuna sald wrap which bears no resembleance to the run of the mill tuna salad. There was just a hint of mayonaise and a marvelous... More

It was lunch time on a Thursday so the small place was crowded but no significant wait to order. Both my wife and I ordered a BLT sandwich and it was it was outstanding. I think the bread and the bit of avocado made the difference.

They forgot my friend's order, and asked him for it 3 times before having to have the chef come out and ask him personally what he wanted. The girls weren't very interested in making sure everyone was happy and taken care of. My chicken salad was good, but not incredible. Decent, but nothing to write home about.

we liked the fact we could eat for less than 40$ here. they have a deli case with different cold salads in it and hot sandwiches. it's small and laid back in here. they have wine and beer and it's fast. I had chicken salad, peaches with basil and feta , and potato salad. fresh and good.

I stopped in here the other day and got a steak wrap and a ginger molasses cookie. The steak was dry and flavorless, and there wasn't much there to begin with, it was served with what was supposed to be a slaw but that tasted like dry cabbage as well-- not worth the $10 I paid for it at all.... When I walked into this coffee shop, I felt that I had found a REAL coffee house. The coffee was great and the atmosphere was what a coffee shop should be. I loved my oatmeal/flax cookie and my mocha was fabulous. I'll definitely drop in when I am visiting Telluride again.
