Some very nice service and quality

We are here for a film festival and this is our home away from home. Special thanks to Meg!!! FOOD IS YUMMY. Gluten free blueberry pancakes were delicious.

Fresh fresh fresh! Delicious, wholesome food made right on the premises. Served in throwback enamel ware, this was a nice touch. We had breakfast, but the salad selection looked amazing. They are fully licensed and I'd come back for an evening out.

We had our first visit to Telluride last week, and The Butcher and The Baker was one place that is still open during off-season. Lucky for us. We ate one breakfast and two lunches there--delicious! Their coffee is so good, and they make their breads, desserts, etc. from scratch. There was a great buzz in there--a lot of locals, and... More

We went for dinner, and enjoyed it so much we went back a second time. The steak main course was one of the most enjoyable (sensibly priced) meat experiences you can get in Telluride. The deserts were excellent too. The staff on our first visit were more chatty and friendly than the second, but both very pleasant. I really enjoyed... More

Had dinner here our first day in Telluride. First thing, the signs were confusing. A huge sign said order at the counter. After waiting for awhile, I finally asked a woman if they serve anything but soups (on the bulletin board menu) and salads (in the case by the register). She gave us a small clipboard with 5x7 papers attached... More

Upon entering it's just super confusing...where do you order? Where are the menus? What's in the case up at the front? Do you sit and wait and they bring it to you or do you go get it when they call your name? Nothing about it was inviting, so we sat for a moment, tried to figure it all out... More

Go!!!!!! It's worth it! Great food selection and fresh and local produce used. Very hot food and tasted incredible. Only problem we had was finding a parking spot on the street since they were so busy!

Had lunch at this cafe that was new to us. You order from the sandwich, soup, and salad menu. Fresh ingredients and organic. Excellent taste. The place is noisy, but clean and lively with great sandwich and salads.

Fresh, funky and fabulous. Their new dinner service was great! Interesting dishes, fresh fish, oysters at a reasonable price, which is rare for Telluride. We are absolutely going back!

You must stop in here for breakfast or brunch at least once while in Telluride. It moved this past year to get more room and this can be risky for a thriving café. But they are safe as nothing was lost in the move. Absolutely a treat not to be missed in Telluride for any coffee product, pastry, breakfast item...... More
