The Butcher and the Baker makes delicious food and serves it in a casual atmosphere. You order at the counter (sandwiches, soups, salads, etc) and they bring it over to your table in the sunny, open space. They have inventive menus--different soups every day, for example--and the food is really excellent. It's a bit pricy for a casual meal, but... More

I stopped here for breakfast earlier this month while on a group ski trip to Telluride. While it is has a welcoming atmosphere, the counter ordering service was slow as the order taker/cashier seemed to be preoccupied with running a credit card through her Ipad system. Ultimately we were able to place our orders. Interestingly they provide a billiard ball... More

The staff here is rude and downright disrespectful. I went in to sit at a table for lunch and the waitress brought the clean silverware tray directly to our table and took a full 5 minutes to refill the cutlery into the on-table bins, right while we were eating. It ruined our lunch. She could have taken the bin away... More

Stopped by to get latte, cappuccino and pastries before we head back home to AZ. Omg, chocolate croissant, scones, ham and cheese croissant was marvelous!!! A little wait to get the bagel and cream cheese but I was in no hurry. Enjoyed coffee drinks too!!! If you love fresh homemade pastries, this is it!! Love the farmhouse decor too!!

This lovely restaurant with a counter and stools is the place to have breakfast in Telluride. "Bacon and Eggs Over Easy" says it all. Great lattes served with a heart on Valentines Day. Lunch would be good too and we had a simple dinner of ribs. Very tasty, Also "Spic and Span" clean. If you go for breakfast you will... More

A local highly recommended this place to us for brunch but we were not impressed. We came in one brunch and within the first ten minutes they forgot about our drink order while we were waiting for friends. The bloody mary was delicious, but our other espresso alcoholic drink was definitely not worth the high price for the size. When... More

We were told this was a "must eat" restaurant in Telluride. We ate there, but wouldn't go back. Servers didn't seem to care, food was marginal (and cold), and it appeared to be much more of a local's only hangout than one welcoming visitors.

This place is fairly new (apparently) and the decor is super cute and probably exactly what I would do if I had my own restaurant. But I wasn't impressed with the service. We went on a busy morning, but were hoping to eat quickly and get on the slopes. We waited for a party to vacate a table, and then... More
