Good Breakfast

We enjoyed good breakfast at The butcher&baker, not outstanding though. Better suited for a quick bite than for extensive brunch. Family friendly.

They relocated, we like the new place, the bake goods are really good, still the same flavor but probably because is a little bigger the food took a little longer, when you get your food cold you don't enjoyed at all. the service is great, they are always smiling. The drinks are delicious, the Bloody Mary super tasty and fresh.

Good food, large wine pours and a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit. Several decent dishes and worth saving space for dessert

First time food was OK but very slow to arrive.. Tried again with special request that food be served quickly. 45 minutes for a burger to arrive is not my idea of quick. And asking where is the food is not helpful. The 'butcher' name might suggest a beef cut on the menu but the only beef is the burger.... More

The name evokes amazing bread and meat. The product is generic and boring lunch meat on frozen bread. After a $12 sandwich taking half hour, I am dissapointed. City market in Montrose has a better deli sandwich.

Our last day in Telluride, we eschewed skiing and walked around the village. Shopped at Cashmere Red and Between the Covers Bookshop. I asked about a nice place for lunch and was led to The Butcher & Baker Cafe. Pros: REALLY good, healthy food. Sandwiches, salads, interesting and vegan selections. Cons: Super pricey. Like $60 for lunch for three adults... More

Not sure what the broad appeal of this place is. It is disorganized (where do you place your order?) At busy times, it is somewhat awkward to find yourself looking for a place to sit when a single person or a couple claims a large table that you need because you have 3, 4, or 5 in your party. I... Food was pretty good and service was okay. They have a good selection of sandwiches and soups. The atmosphere was great and food came out fast.

This food is FANTASTIC, spoiled only by the arrogance of servers. Restaurant modern and busy. I think they want the 'in set'. Worth going once.

I went here for breakfast one morning. I quickly noticed there were quite a few locals which to me is always a good sign. I have the Lox & Bagel and it was darn good. Plenty of Lox and the bagel was toasted perfectly. Their lunch menu seemed creative, upscale, and healthy. Although, to be honest, I want to come... More
