Went out with the ladies to catch up. Great food, as always, and great service, as always. Interesting menu that is always showcasing a great special. You can count on the quality to be not notch each time you sent down for a meal.

I have lived in Telluride nearly 25 years. In that time I think I have seen all of the dining experiences. Only two Telluride venues seem to me to be equivalent to what we always thought of as the Michelin Guide 3 star rating -- worth a special trip. Those would be Bistro and Sheridan Chop House. Everyone else in... More

Go here. Great pasta. Charming. Super attentive staff. Among top spots in Telluride. Particularly good carbonara.

1) This restaurant is no longer The Telluride Pizza Kitchen. Same building with more patio space in the summer and the same brilliant and inventive chef/owner Sergio Gonzalez. The pizza is very good but this is definitely not a "pizza joint" 2) This is far more than a simple regional restaurant in a mountain resort town. Sergio selects the best... More

I live in Telluride and have eaten in every restaurant here. When I am looking for a great dinner, I go to the Bistro because I know the quality of food and service is always there.

We ate here one night as we were trying to find a place to eat quickly as it was really snowing outside. The owner or manager greeted us at the door and was very friendly, however, our waiter seemed put out to wait on us and was much more interested in the tables around us. I had a special Hawaiian... Pastas were pretty good, but overpriced. Caesar salad was bland and overpriced ($15). Wine list much too expensive. We probably will not return. Service was excellent.

Telluride has several excellent restaurants (see my review of La Marmotte). On return trips to Telluride, when it's time for Italian, the clear choice for us is Telluride Bistro. It seems that locals gravitate here, as well, which we take to be a good sign of quality and value. This is a fairly small venue, so get a reservation. And... More

Ostensibly upscale Italian, as most places in Telluride it all "depends" Sometimes the service is good, sometimes the wait is thinking about the powder. Sometimes the food is excellent, sometimes they did not get their shipment. The Bistro typically is on and better than the other Italian in town. Not the best restaurant in TEX but pretty close to it.

This is a restaurant the never disappoints. Weather permitting, the outdoor patio is pleasant, open and the place to be. But event the indoor space is airy and light. And the food is up to the standards of the best Telluride has to offer. This is a don't miss stop each time we travel to Telluride . . . which... More
