Lovely Telluride Dinner

We were very warmly greeted and seated by the proprietor. All three of us had cocktails. The bartender, Sasha, made great drinks, including an original drink for my wife. It was called Honey Dew Me (Now). For dinner Penne alla Vodka, Pasta with Elk Sausage and Cappalini alla Chekka. The food and... read more

It was our last night visiting Telluride, the weather was wonderful, and we wanted to sit outside. I had seen the twinkling lights and red umbrellas earlier in the day so Telluride Bistro was our choice. We sat on the patio, and they provided red lap blankets in case you got chilly, which I thought was a great idea. The... More

It was an incredible day so we enjoyed the patio! Our server was excellent! We ordered calamari to start. It was perfectly cooked and ever so slightly sprinkled w sea salt. We finished with the special, chopped chicken salad, a caprese panini and spinach and sun dried tomato salad. The food was very fresh and well prepared. The chopped salad... More

A summer afternoon on the patio at the Telluride Bistro was sublime! Such a pretty patio with sand-colored umbrella's over each table, black wrought iron table and chairs. Each chair had a red "throw" on the back to cover with when those unpredictable cool mountain breezes kick up. A visual delight! Also delightful were the caprese salad and the Spinaci... More

In Telluride for a day and happen to hit the big Ride concert festival. We were happy to find this restaurant with a nice patio facing the Main Street. Italian in menu selections with good wine variety. Our lunches were huge, delicious and thoroughly enjoyable. Service was not only professional but she took the time to talk to each of... More

Overpriced for the value received. Service was good. I was surprised to see a charge for a split plate. No kids menu. Stopped in for lunch and wished we hadn't. Servers were friendly and food was delivered quickly. Overall just average.

We drove the San Juan Skyway, and stopped for lunch at the Telluride Bistro. The weather was pleasant, and so we sat outside. We both ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese -- a somewhat small portion for $18, but I recognize it is Telluride AND the Rigatoni was delicious. The waitress seemed distracted, or maybe she was new -- her spiel to... More

Telluride Bistro is my idea of an excellent restaurant. The food is wonderfully well prepared in classic styles, without insisting on being trendy or different from anything else you have ever eaten. It is simply consistently excellent which allows me to concentrate on my friends or just to watch the alpenglow at sunset. The menu is designed for a full... More
