This is a must for anyone skiing in Telluride. We went on a cold snowy day so it was perfect to warm up, have a wonderful home-cooked meal and some wine. The organic tomato gorgonzola soup was so great, I wished I could ask the chef for the recipe. Definitely the highlight of the food. The sandwich options were wonderful... More

What a wonderful evening As a surprise dinner party organised by our friends we were taken by snow cat from the the top of the gondola after a pre dinner cocktail at Reds Dinner, wine, service and views were amazing at 12 ,000feet! The weather turned during dinner which made the snow cat ride back down very interesting, When my ski... More

Alpino Vino is located just off the intermediate ski run named "See-Forever". During our third ski trip to Telluride, my wife and I decided to forego our usual Kashi bar lunch on the ski lift and splurge at this wonderful european style restaurant nestled at nearly 12,000 feet elevation along the most picturesque ridge in the ski resort. The food,... More

This is certainly not for a quick or cheap lunch. However, it's certainly worth a visit. For a start, as a wine lover/drinker, being able to have a nice glass of wine at the highest wine bar in the USA, just has to be done. We also ordered the Antipasto plate for 2. Annoyingly, this took an age to arrive... More

Best antipasto I've ever seen! Tomato soup was also pretty darn good. The place is very tiny would not be very good in a lunch rush. The views are spectacular want to good day. It's a bit pricey, but worth it!

We had lunch on a brilliant sunny ski day. This is easily the best mountain food I've ever had. The fresh basil and buffalo mozzeralla was to die for. The wines were excellent and the staff brilliant and knowledgable about the food.

The food was great and the attention was very good. I stopped by in the middle of the day while snowboarding. Highly recommended.

I ate here for lunch during a full day of skiing the mountain. I ordered the elk panini, salad and a glass of red wine. The elk was ok, but the salad portion was very small, and the red wine tasted cheap and acidic. Overall, I thought the menu selection was too limited as you only get to choose from... More

Alpine Vino is one of the most picturesque places for lunch that I have ever been to! Try to go on a sunny day, but a few clouds won't put a damper on your day! It is a bit pricey but worth every cent! The service was superior! One of the best days of my 2014 so far!

My husband and I stopped here on a day the kids were in ski school and we had some time to ourselves. He had an amazing hot chocolate and we shared a large bottle of water. We had the antipasto platter for two and I had a glass of very good Pinot Grigio. The food was delicious and probably could... More
