Fun place to stop during ski day

Stopped and had some food and wine mid-afternoon on a sunny day. Sat outside. Great staff who seemed knowledgeable and very interested in talking about wine. Nice to see that enthusiasm. Expensive.

This was a fun place to have lunch. About $125 for 2 of us but the food was not your average ski lodge food!

We were so lucky to have 40 degree temps and spring-like conditions in January which made eating lunch here all the more enjoyable. It became our must-do our last 3 ski days. Loved the veggie panini and though we are not the drink and ski types, there was no way we could skip having a glass of wine with such... More

Be careful what and how much you drink here as the restaurant is at 11,966 feet above sea level. Alpino Vino is near top of mountain on "See Forever" trail. Visited on a blue sky day and the view from the deck is spectacular! Must stop for a drink or lunch. They also offer dinner, (by reservation only) and provide... More

Just a short swish down from the chairlift that brings you to Revelation Bowl you'll find this charming restaurant with expansive views across the slopes of Telluride, the valley, and surrounding mountainscape. I have never had an on-slope dining experience that was better. The food is delicious ... european-inflected and so flavorful. The service is wonderful. If the weather allows,... More

We didn't eat here - only sat on the outdoor sofa with the faux fur blankets covering us while sipping Champagne at 11:00 a.m. We took a break from skiing and didn't want to leave. A "must do" while on the mountain!

the highest wine bar in North America at 12,000 ft I believe. I won't tell you anymore to ruin the surprise. What a place! don't miss it on a blue sky day. Only way to get there is to ski there! If I could ski and drink, I would have stayed all afternoon!

A friend and I decided to stop by Alpino Vino after skiing the morning in Revelation Bowl. We figured that we probably shouldn't pass over the opportunity to dine at the highest restaurant in N. America. As it was a sunny 30 degree day we chose to sit outside, under their patio heaters, and enjoy the day while we dined.... More

Yes, it's expensive. If you ever are going to splurge do it here! I wouldn't do dinner because this is all about the VIEW, the great wine, the atmosphere and perfect sandwiches for hungry skiers. This staff does their absolute best to accommodate you - Justin, Luke and the two Dans, and I wish I could remember the rest, do... More

We stopped for lunch and the food (Paninis with tomato soup) was good but the service could be better: our waiter seemed to be short-minded and we had to remind him quite a few times to bring the glass of wine and water...
