Between 5 and 6p in the bar area you can get a delicious Cosmo (made by Vincent) for $5 or a glass of wine for $7. Sushi is half price. Their bread is to die for and their regular menu is great too!

I have been coming here for years and look forward to eating here every time I am in Telluride. The homemade burrata (an obsession of mine) is perfection as is the calamari. The entrees are always exquisite. This is a classic restaurant. I love this place.

From 5-6 PM, Cosmopolitans are $5 and sushi is half price. The sushi chef is very creative and the presentation and tastes are excellent. There is also a varied menu of non-Asian dishes. The menu changes daily based on availability of ingredients. Located at the base of the gondola, the location could not be better.

The hook is 1/2 price sushi for happy hour along with drink special. The space is beautiful. The service was actually quite good. They bring complimentary bread to the table which is quite good. We each ordered a sushi dish for an average price of $10 a plate. The portions are miniscule although the sushi was actually quite good. The... More

Wow, this experience was bad in so many ways, especially for a high rated restaurant: We waited quite a while to be acknowledged by our waitress Casey who was more interested in a large party table next to us Little flies were buzzing around our table Menu was different than on their own website - Casey said you should call... Everything here is fresh and delicious and creatively presented. The sushi is especially nice. The bread seems to be baked on site and is very good. We weren't in the market for alcohol, but saw interesting drinks at other tables.

Just off the base of the Gondola, a great location with great views of the mountain. Cosmopolitan drinks are very well done and happy hour priced. They have a mesquite or pecan smoked salmon sashimi that is very cool and tasty. A glass dome is placed over the sashimi and the smoke is pumped in. Gives it a nice flavor... More

We thought we were going here early for happy hour but it turns out that you are seated in the regular dining room if all the tables are taken in the bar. The regular priced menu is all that is available in the dining room. We had the warm beet salad and a chopped salad, which were both great. We... More

We were in Telluride for a month and our two best meals were at Cosmo. They deserve their high rating in TripAdvisor. The wait staff was professional, knowledgeable, and just attentive enough. The food was over-the-top good. We were a party of eight on one of the nights and everyone remarked that their meals were extraordinary. This restaurant is pricey... More

No need for a long detailed review here. Everything was amazing at Cosmopolitan. From the table bread to the amazing beef filet the food was outstanding. The wine selection unreal. The service was perfect. Only thing, make sure you have a reservation. We didn't have one and had to sit in the "front area" which was no biggie for us,... More
