We had lunch here and some of the items were not what we expected but were quite good. It's a healthier choice for lunch. We didn't have breakfast here. Winona's is located in the heart of downtown so you must find street parking. It's a small place.

Even at 9 am on a Sunday morning there was about a 20 minute wait. But once seated, there was no rush--had time to enjoy Spinach and Crab Eggs Benedict, coffee and my NY Times (available at the local Starbucks but they keep them behind the counter and you have to ask for it)

Very popular with locals - this staple of downtown Steamboat Springs has tasty and inventive breakfast entrees and pastries. Delicious food and fun for people watching too.

You'll never be disappointed with Winona's, whether you go for breakfast or lunch. Lots of great choices, super-friendly waitstaff, and the best coffee in the world. Breakfast burritos are varied and delicious. Waffles and cinnamon rolls are immense and decadent. The baked goods in the bake-case make you certain you can eat one more thing, no matter how full you... More

Lived up it's reputation. We were lucky and got inside table right away, but it was a weekday and we came later. Service super friendly and efficient. Surprise waffle was really a perfect delicious waffle, though a little pricy for one waffle. I had cinnamon French toast, three huge cinnamon infused French toast. So much it was a deluge flu... Great Tuna sandwhich and Pastrami Reuben. Very pleasant wait staff. A definite hit. The dessert selection makes me want to come back.

We went with another couple. both of us enjoyed the breakfast and the huge cinnamon bun, which was great. I would have rated it higher but when we asked to have the check divided between two couples the waitress could be bothered and gave some excuse regarding the computer, even though she was writing the order on the old fashion... Went there for breakfast and we were a big group (11). Did not faze them at all, accomadated us and the food all came out together. The cinammon buns were just amazing... and huge! Definately somewhere you should go when in Steamboat!

Great breakfast menu and wonderful food. This small place gets packed so go early if you want to sit inside but the tables on the street are just great if the weather is good. Try the Surprise Waffle!
