We just had a fabulous happy hour at the Mahogany Ridge. At the advice of previous reviewers, we arrived soon after the 4 pm opening time. The bar area was already very full, and 1/2 hour after we arrived there was also a wait for the dining area. We had some IPA made in-house, and enjoyed the happy hour tapas.... More

I've been to Mahogany Ridge about 6-7 times over the years. My favorite restaurant in Steamboat. The beer is good but the food is fantastic. I've never been disappointed.

Booked for 8pm arrived early, but could not even get a drink at bar. Very popular and good environment. Food good, uncluttered with sauces of your choice. Every food available. Staff very efficient with owner/maitre'd ? overseeing everything. Would go again.

After reading the reviews we decided to give this a try. I called ahead and the gentleman that answered was extremely helpful. Apparently, there were no reservations open but he encouraged us to try anyway because they often have tables set aside for walk ins. After arriving, we entered our name and wandered into the bar. The place was HOPPIN'!... More

We finally made it to Mahogany. Arrived fairly early during Happy Hour on a Thursday. We had only been seated a short time before every seat in the place was filled. Great little $1.00 appetizers - really yummy. For dinner my husband got a pork shank, I went with steak filet. The dipping sauces are something I've never seen before,... More

The Scottish ale is there best beer I've ever had and the amber was great also. The $1 appetizers during happy hour are good also.

When you walk into a place at 7 PM on a Tuesday during the down season and there is an hour wait for a table, you know they must be doing something right. We ate at the bar, had a wonderful meal (the bison NY strip was awesome) and great service. Nice upscale place.

Visited during musicfest week based on reviews from tripadvisor. Awesome happy hour with super cheap tapas and drink specials. Had the pork shank - it was prepared so excellent (tender, juicy, etc) that it had no need for the dipping sauces included with the meal (which were excellent too). Friends I ate with had the filet and ribeye and they... More

Friendly, professional, efficient staff. Yummy menu with good options for appetizers, soups, salads, and entrees. Their specialty is the dipping menu--nice cuts of meat (including some exotics like elk and bison) with dipping sauces on the side--my favorite was the Sriracha Miso. Be sure to try a beer flight, although Alpenglow was my favorite. Some reasonably priced wines by the... More
