From the service to the food everything was impeccable. Our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I went out on a limb and had there oxtail special (never tried oxtail before) and it was amazing. Our whole party had nothing but good things to say about their food as well. We will definitely be back.

We always eat at La Montana in the evening after we drive up to Steamboat. Great food and service and the best house margarita in town. Try the pasta - locally made noodles and good amount of spice to carbo-load before burning your legs the next morning.

This is a stable restaurant for us every time we come to Steamboat Springs. The fajitas are awesome. Don't forget to order the sopapillas for dessert. Covered in cinnamon sugar and honey they are "muy delicioso".

During a visit to Steamboat we had dinner here on the recommendation from friends. From the moment we sat the service was great. Our waiter was on point! And the food was Deelish...there were several of us and we all ordered different plates. The appetizers were awesome - definitely try the Queso Fundido...melted cheese heaven. I had a burrito that... 10 of us greatly enjoyed our dinner here Christmas week. The bartender is a source of extensive information and opinion about Steamboat. The menu is extensive--from tex-mex to steaks. Pitchers of margaritas were delicious. Excellent service and fun atmosphere.

Enjoyed our dinner at La Montana again. We've been coming to Steamboat since the mid 80's. Somewhere along the line we added La Montana to our must visit list each year. The Elk Loin was excellent. The Pork tenderloin Puebla was very tender and tasty. Plus they have a new chef who made an amazing slow-cooked Ox Tail that was... More

Every time we are in town, wife and I get the best food, drinks and service from Glenn and the staff at the bar. Margaritas and appetizers are top shelf, especially the carnitas. Already looking forward to our next return visit.

My pork tenderloin fajitas were over-cooked and bland. The roasted peppers were okay but the caramelized onions were awful. My son's fish taco was "fishy" and not fresh tasting- mahi mahi. The only plus of the dinner was my wife's $37 bacon rapped buttered scampi stuffed with crab meat. These were delicious. The meal was over $100. Very disappointing dinning... More

We rented a condo very close to La Montana, and called for a dinner reservation early on in our stay. I know the week after Christmas is busy, but they had no available tables for five days. We reserved a table for our last night in Steamboat, and looked forward to it all week. Upon finally arriving, we had to... More

As always, I encourage feed back from all of my guests at La Montana. It is unfortunate you had a bad experience. I was not working on the 4th and I do not think that the MOD knew you were having a less than perfect time. I thoroughly train my staff to take care of the guest the way they... More
