We went here and don't plan on going back again. It was a disappointment in every way possible. Some of the food was almost indelible. The service was pretty awful too. At one point we spilled some wine on the table. There was noone around to help us so I got up to look for someone. There were two separate... More

The bar menu is extensive and casual, try the sliders. For fine dining Lapogee is the dining room. Lamb dishes are usually excellent at Lapogee

These guys can make anything any way you like it (if they have the ingredients in stock). Very creative. Great atmosphere. I prefer to sit in the bar. More casual and comfortable (at least for me). Half price wine 5-6:30 pm, and always a good selection.

Steamboat Springs contains lots of satisfying casual restaurants. This fine restaurant is at a much higher level than your typical ski town fare. The food is superb as is the service and the wine list is almost too comprehensive. On most nights you can dine from the full menu or even enjoy the bar menu.

We read many great reviews of Harwig's Grill and were ready to pay a more for a quality meal. Yea, the service was slow but not unexpected from the laid back atmosphere. My wife was not anticipating a swordfish dish served as sushi. Overly cooked on the outside, raw in the middle. I had the venison-not much flavor and the... More

We went L'Apogee last night to cap off a great Prez Day weekend with my daughter and brother. It was spectacular. We were greeted warmly by an amiable bartender. We were led into a delightful dining room filled with wine labels and crates, letting you know the owner is serious about wine. We were taken care of with elegance and... More

We had just arrived into Steamboat and stopped at a local bar, my husband asked a local bartender for a restaurant recommendation during our stay for a special occasion dinner (it was his birthday the next night). The local recommended this spot and we were not disappointed! The service was super friendly and knowledgeable about the many wines on the... More

We truly enjoyed our evening at L'Apogee/Harwigs. My friend started with Arugula,Mizuna,Ridicchio Salad (where else can you get Mizuna in the States?) and I had creamy squash soup that thoroughly wamed me up, then I had fish dinner served with gnocchi and Enoki mushrooms(again very rare to find Enoki served in U.S.) For desserts my friend had "lemongrass(!) Ice cream"... More

We sat at the bar and had a great time with the bartender and staff. Rather than order off the menu, we told the chef our likes and dislikes and let him just sent out whatever he wanted. No complaints! I got to try lots of great food.
