We came here to celebrate our honeymoon and chose Harwigs for our "fancy dinner". They have a great drink selection, including wine, bubbly, cocktails, cognac...just to name a few. We ended up ordering the Mussels and Heirloom Tomato Salad for appetizers. Our server came back to inform us that the mussels weren't supposed to be on the menu anymore. Instead... More

We have visited Steamboat during ski season for over 13 years and this was our first visit to Harwig's. It is a new family favorite. We dined at Harwig's last February with our 6 & 9 year old sons. We had a great bottle of wine, a delicious meal and best of all, our boys loved it too. We are... More

We popped in here after dinner for drinks as this was next to our hotel. Camille was our waitress and was excellent. I had the Kim-tini - a martini made with assorted orange liquors that was to die for. My husband had the Perfect Manhattan. It was made with rye which can be a little harsh, depending on your preference.... More

We enjoyed a private dinner at Harwigs in the cellar and it was AMAZING. We were there to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary and it was worth every penny. The food was outstanding and my parents (and everyone else) enjoyed every bite. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone. JJ was wonderful and our server was outstanding (he even brought... More

This is one of Steamboat's nicest restaurants. Our group was very casually dressed after a day outdoors, but we asked for an outdoor street-side table and were made to feel very welcome. There was a nice selection of wines by the glass and we snacked off the appetizer/bar food menus. Grilled dates were delicious, as was the lamb chop, onion... More

We have not been in Steamboat for almost 20 years. L'Apogee used to be one of our favorites. We are traveling with friends who had never been there. On our first night in town we had to return. The best way to describe the meal was it was as good s we remembered. Our friends both said maybe one of... More

One thing I want to feature about this restaurant is its pure consistency. I have eaten here over a dozen times in the past year. It is where I choose to celebrate my birthday annually and I simply love the service. The food; it speaks for itself. Truly a work of art.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Harwigs and could not have been more pleased with our choice. The food and service was phenomenal. My husband and I purposely ordered different courses so we could try as much as possible - and EVERYTHING was amazing. So much flavor in every bite - would definitely go back. Again and again.

Every time we've been to Harwigs the staff has made us feel like a welcome guest. The service is consistently extraordinary. We have celebrated special occasions and holidays here and it's always a wonderful experience. I love wine and they have an outstanding list with a lot of depth and hard to find vintages. Their sommelier is a walking wine... More
