Good for a nice occasion

We ate here for a birthday dinner. It's "upscale" for Steamboat Springs, making a casual dress or polo shirt appropriate (I have to say I was worried that I would be underdressed, but was not). Dinner was ok. Service was slow, slow, slow. Food was good - but for those prices I expected excellent. If you have all night and unlimited funds, this is a good choice. Not my cuppa. I won't be back. Waitstaff and management were very nice.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. The food and the service were amazing. My girlfriend tried the duck and I tried the lamb both were great and will definitely will mark down as one of our favorites.

Stopped here with my wife after a day of hiking in the Steamboat area. We were alone at the bar. Proprietor, Jaimie Jenny, could not have been more hospitable and engaging, regaling us with local lore and recommendations for our week in Steamboat. I was surprised to learn he made a proper Dark & Stormy, and my wife had a... More

On our last night in Steamboat, we thought we would try somewhere new , and after reading other reviews on TA, decided on Harwig’s on Lincoln between 9th and 10th. The service from the time we were greeted at the door until we departed was impeccable. All of the dining room staff were knowledgeable about the food and answered our... More

Harwigs is pricy, but you get what you pay for. We went on a Wednesday night with a group of 5 and were seated immediately with no reservation. The dining room is attractive and relatively quiet. The service all night was superb. All the wait staff helped each other and the sommelier was helpful without being snooty. (I like picking... More

I have dined here several times over the last ten years.... It is excellent in almost all ways .... The wine cellar is vast and deep as is owner's, Jamie, knowledge of wine. The food is prepared just right and the ingredients are what I expect in a big city not a great little ski town. Lastly, the service is... More

What a wonderful and delightful dinner experience. Our server was a pure delight! Our dinner of chicken was so tender and juicy. Our wine was fabulous and our secret tour of their wine cellar was the topping on the chocolate cake. An an amazing night. Oh don't forget the night cap at their quaint bar with the sweetest bartender ever.... More

This restaurant is open almost every day of the year, so we go there on Sundays and Mondays. It has a nice formal dining area, but we prefer to eat in the cozy bar. The chef prepares a wide variety of tapas and full dinners. The bartenders are dressed in ties, are great mixologists, and very cordial. The wait staff... More
