The soft shell chicken tacos looked odd to me at first glance. Perhaps it was the lighting or the tequila in the giant margarita...but the first bite was so tasty, I forgot why. I gave the average rating as the service was skewed to overlooking outoftowners in favor of locals. Nice people, but not particularly attentive. (I'd still go back).

There are many places outside of the south to find white cheese dip. I am not from the south, but my girlfriend is and she's a big fan of white cheese dip. She discovered this location on a previous trip to Steamboat and I had my first visit there recently. It is located on the main road through Steamboat, so... More

Great Margaritas, kind of a dive, enjoyed the food, but the whole time we were in the restaurant there were several un-cleaned tables around us and not very many customers for the two wait staff on duty. As the few customers did arrive they would have to stand next to the table and wait for it to be cleaned before... More

We held our rehearsal dinner at Cantina on 7/30/2014. There were approximately 30 people in our group. After requesting more information from Cantina about hosting such a party, I was directly contacted by Jeff, the owner. He was absolutely wonderful. He was very accommodating to all of our needs, and we ended getting a wonderful fajita bar with appetizers, drink... More

Stopped through Steamboat on our way back home. I got the fish tacos with a pineapple or mango salsa (couldn't tell) which were delicious. Friends got the chile rellenos and smothered burrito. They have a ton of gluten free options, you just have to ask. Chips and salsa came first along with delicious margaritas for like $3. TV's are around... More

Crispy, warm chips and salsa and a delicious margarita were introductions to our excellent dinner at The Cantina where the "feel" is truly Mexican. Fish tacos featured a generous portion of grilled fish with pineapple salsa accompanied by refried beans and a truly unusual and excellent cheesy rice. Sizzling top-sirloin fajitas with all the trimmings were exceptional, too! We'll return... More

Excellent Mexican food. Hand made Margarits that are out of this world. Gluten free menu options that taste great. Fun atmosphere. Right down town.

We went here on a Friday evening with a party of 6. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. When we were finally seated, we waited, and waited and waited for our server. No one ever came. The volume of noise was so loud, that we could not ever sit and talk to each other while we kept waiting... More

Stopped in 3 days in a row just for Sangria and tortilla chips and salsa after shopping, riding bikes, etc. around town. Great afternoon break ! ! ! We sat outside and enjoyed the sun and Sangrias were incredible ! ! !

2 adults and 2 kids had a lovely evening with good atmosphere. The adults enjoyed very good margueritas but the food was generally only average. Plenty of it - complementary nachos and salsa arrived shortly after we sat down - but the mains were underwhelming I'm afraid. Staff were friendly and service was quick enough.
