The best Margaritas I've ever had! Spent a week in Steamboat eating as much Mexican food as we could stomach. Unfortunatley, we tried two other places before we discovered the Cantina. The food is outstanding. My favorite was the shrimp enchiladas in a jalapeno pesto cream sauce. Kinda rich but really yummy. But the margaritas alone are worth the trip.... more

We just got back from Steamboat and we ate at the Cantina twice during our visit. The food was delicious and prices were good. I got the tamales one time, enchiladas and my husband got the chimichanga. The margaritas were also very good and 1/2 price during happy hour. more

Wow- just came back from a week in the 'boat, and was looking for some good down home Mexican... all the locals say if you can only eat mexican once in colorado, the Cantina is it. The place is one of the oldest restaraunts in town, definately the oldest mexican before mexican was even a mainstream option in the US.... more
