This place was a great spot for a drink with friends. The bar atmosphere is quiet (watch the low ceiling beams) and without tv noise. The manager was very friendly and appreciative of our patronage and the place was clean.

We ate here last time we were in steamboat and had good memories but left a little disappointed this time. The restaurant was not particularly busy so had no problem getting a table, we were brought a free basket of tortilla chips with excellent salsa upon seating. Our Mexican waiter was courteous although not particularly friendly. We ordered a steak... More

After my family consisting of eleven people were unable to get a table big enough for us to eat at one night in Steamboat, we decided to walk into Cantina not knowing anything about this place. They had two big tables for us available, one for the kids, one for the adults! We were pleasantly surprised at how great the... More

Quaint Mexican restaurant that we went to on the spur of the moment, Thursday evening. They had no problem accommodating a party of 8. The server Alilo was charming. The Cantina queso, guac, chile releno, margarita, chips and salsa were excellent. Everyone was happy with their food. We would all go back.

The food is incredible, and the decor is very "South of the Border". The girls are great there that wait on you too! They are always so helpful! Especially , Pony ! We love it here , now compared to all the others, and we are fussy, as we have lived here over 34 years!! Look for discounts in local... More

We travel frequently to mountain ski towns. We expect slow service and overpriced food. The Cantina is no exception. It has a higher quality of food for strip mall, but it's expensive and everything seem to be a bit hotter than we would've liked. And be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes for your food. They keep the chips... More

Having eaten here a couple of times in the past and had good experiences, we thought we'd give it a go after church this summer. Will not be going back. Although we were one of only two tables when we arrived, it was fully an hour before our food arrived. Then when it did, I was stunned when my chile... More

My husband and I ate here. We had two different entree's and bean dip with guacamole. The food was good. The service was ok. The guacamole was good and the salsa was good. Not too hot but with just enough of a bite to it. The restaurant is nicely positioned when shopping downtown.
