Great Margarita- good lunch

Contrary to other reviews, we had a great lunch! Nachos, tamales, and I had a Blue corn tostada with chipotle sauce and fresh greens and rice! MMMum good. Way too much food for the $10.99 lunch price. Best Margarita ever plain simple and relish!

Waiter was great but the food was lacking in Mexican flavor and spice. Tried the fish tacos and they were good but very bland. They also brought too many add-on sides to possibly finish. Lastly, the homemade guacamole made at the table was a great idea but the outcome lacked a lot. It was definitely short on lime, cilantro, and... More

After taking a ride tubing down the Yampa, the family was looking for a tasty lunch option and The Cantina did not disappoint! My daughter had the kids' ground beef burrito with the blanco queso topping, my son had a bean burrito unsmothered. Both of them thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I had the veggie burrito smothered with the queso blanco... More

We ordered the queso as an appetizer and it wasn't even cheesey! How can queso not be cheesey? It's cheese! It seemed to be thickened with flour and it was not good. We had the carne asada burrito and the meat was in chunks, with no seasoning. It was bland and the tortilla was cold. The whole meal was a... More

There are two Mexican restaurants one block from each other on Lincoln in downtown Steamboat, so we tried them on back to back Sundays for brunch. The Cantina is the second one we tried. My wife and I ordered as close to identical orders to make the comparison fair. I asked for the huevos rancheros, and she asked for a... More

Manager sat us at the bar since there was only 2 of us! We waited over 20 mins to get w drink! Bartender was goofalogagus!... More

The meals were not very flavorful in our opinion for Mexican and the service was a bit spotty. I would pick one of the other places unless you really like margaritas and won't mind the food after drinking one of their specialities .

Food was GREAT! Margaritas were tasty specifically the Mojito Margarita. Server was very attentive. Unfortunately, the kitchen messed up our order, but our server did what she could to fix it.

This place has a lot of good Mexican restaurant qualities in a town with many of Mexican Restaurants. Good margs. Great tequila selection. Good food. Go, you can't go wrong.

The food here was really good but the margaritas were even better! The steak tacos were great. The chips were OK but the salsa was really tasty. We had a group of ten and everyone liked their meal. I would definitely go back again!
