Very romantic setting, fabulous food, impeccable service. The perfect restaurant for a romantic dining experience after a day of skiing. Must try the peanut butter pork belly sandwich....it is to die for!!!! For dinner I had the elk and it was lovely. My boyfriend and I split a flourless chocolate cake served with ice cream and salted caramel. I licked... More

There is a reason this place is #1. Amazing food and top notch service. My husband and I both LOVED our entrees- one of the best steaks I've eaten, and beautiful presentation as well. We will be back!

Hard to believe that west coast sea bass could be so good in the mountains of Colorado. Accompanied by delicious faro and shaved Brussels sprouts. Very professional and friendly staff. Excellent choice of wines by the glass.

Our table ordered 4 steaks - beef, bison and elk - all were wonderful. Cafe Diva is physically small, but big on food. Excellent wines were suggested and the restaurant was very accomodating in adjusting the sides with our meals as we all wanted the wonderful cabernet demi glace. Can't wait to go back!

Had an excellent meal here with our 2 teenagers. Would definitely return and recommend this to anyone. Service was excellent, great wine choices and intimate ambiance.

My husband and I wanted a quiet, romantic dinner, and Cafe Diva was recommended; we were not disappointed! Our server, Darryl, was professional and enhanced our dining experience. We ordered the lamb shank and surf and turf...both were amazing! My husband also ordered the squash soup and said it was very good. Somehow we found room to share the Dusty... More

My husband & I enjoyed a date here after reading the reviews. We didn't have a reservation but service at the bar was excellent. We had the beet and arugula salad, lamb shank and Chilean sea bass and we savored every delicious bite.

This very popular café at the base of the ski area at Steamboat ski area usually requires reservations a few days in advance. We had almost given away the idea of going here but thanks to meeting Daryl, the longstanding and personable wine waiter at Diva, while skiing armed us with the knowledge that turning up early around 5.30ish would... An excellent dinner in an intimate atmosphere. Surf and turf (sea scallops and elk) was delicious and everybody raved about the unique peanut butter and bacon sandwich and the special soup that night of cream of cauliflower, prosciutto and gruyere cheese. It's indeed expensive but up there with the best we've experienced anywhere. Do make reservations early, our choice on... More

I dined at Café Diva when it first opened in 2008. It was superb then. I looked forward to a February 2014 dinner in which I was part of a group of four diners. Two of us ordered seafood and two ordered the elk tenderloin. The seafood was terrible. My halibut was overly salted (why would seafood be salted anyway?).... More
