Small but has Charm

We stumbled across this place by accident and we were happy that we did so. We were surprised at the small size of the place and we opted to sit at the bar since it was just the two of us. We could have sat outside by the creek, but it was a little chilly for us. My husband had... read more

We asked around town and were directed to the Creekside Cafe... a place so quaint and cute that we expected the food to only be "average" at best... but we were thrilled when we realized that it has amazing food that is not only as tasty as you could want, but is also all made fresh daily. And... all of... More

The food is great and reasonable with good variety; service is fast and friendly. The downside is that this place is so popular and inside seating is limited so you might have to wait a bit. It's worth it! We had breakfast there every day except for our first day. Street parking only but we always found a spot. Earlier... More

The atmosphere is cool: painted ceilings, stained glass, art on the walls, a huge exposed brick wall, outdoor stream side seating with colorful umbrellas. The food is outstanding! Whether breakfast or brunch of lunch, there are plenty of choices to satisfy everyone. We went at lunch and half of our family ordered lunch items, while the other half ordered breakfast... More

Wow, what a brunch. Traditional eggs Benedict was out of this world. Potatoes were a bit over salted but still tasty. Reasonably price and staff was wonderful. Food was quickly served. We were even set on our way with a cuppa.

Legendary for their breakfast and brunches, we somehow had never made it here. Well, our next visit will be sooner. This is a simple place, with really nice people and a very local feel (check out the local art on the walls). The wait can be long, so be prepared to put your name in and either hang out, or... Locals and tourists cheerfully wait for tables here, for good reason. Lots of people order takeout too. The food is lovingly prepared and served by friendly servers. The menu includes plenty of delicious decadence, but there are healthy choices like an option of egg whites for omelets. There are many choices for vegetarians. Inside tables are cozy especially in winter.... More

I'm a foodie so I'm pretty picky about my restaurants. I had heard from the locals that this was the place they eat and I certainly see why. I came in around 10 AM and found the place incredibly busy for a weekday, which is usually a good sign. I had to wait a few minutes to get a seat... More

Great lunch stop - seated quickly and enjoyed the quinoa bowl salad - quinoa on bed of lettuce with cucumbers and nuts and apples.

I stopped in for a quick bit on my way through Steamboat and I was not disappointed. The Benny with pork and green chili was to die for and incredibly fast. I'll definitely be back in here when I'm back on Steamboat.
