Hand Thrown Pizza

First day in Sreamboat Springs and was checking out the town. We happened to walk by Mambo Italiano and it looked very enviting. Sat in the patio area and really enjoyed there bar specials and especially enjoyed the variety of very unusual pizza combinations.

Our party of four had planned to eat at Low Country, but without a reservation, we'd have a two hour wait. So we just walked on down Lincoln and were immediately seated on the porch of Mambo's. All the outdoor dining was shaded and comfortable at 6:30pm. Hanging flowering plants made the outdoor dining welcoming. Our first impression of our... More

We (5 adults, 2 teenagers and a 9 yr. old) had a wonderful dinner outside at Mambo's. Everyone enjoyed the calamari and zucchini appetizers. Several of the children had a great pizza. The rest of us has specials and other entrees off the menu. Everything was delicious. The wait staff was particularly nice and helpful. Hope we get to dine... More

We had a large party and everyone liked their food with two exceptions: the steak in the special of the day was way overcooked and dry and the spinach wasn't cleaned well and had that yucky grainy taste. All the pasta dishes were fabulous and the seafood special was a particular hit! We had reservations and asked for the patio... More

Great pizza! We stopped here after a free concert and thought the pizzas were great. We took them home but the environment was pleasant and the staff friendly and accommodating.

Pizza was awesome. Service friendly. Only one pizza oven so can take awhile if it's crowded. Happy hour the pizzas are half off! What a deal!

Party of nine and evertything was perfect. Pizza was best ever, and we are native New York pizza snobs. Kale salad was awesome, dessert gellato and zeppoliis were fought over even though all were full. Can't believe this is not in top 5 on tripadvisor. Service was topnotch also. Will be back soon.

The food here was absolutely wonderful! The choice of wine and beer is also excellent. In addition, our waitresses were extremely nice and very knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. The patio is quaint, cool, and cozy. We ate here twice during our visit--it was just so good!!

Our server was wonderful! She was friendly and knowledgeable and always around when you needed her without hovering. We ate on the patio which was very pleasant. The meatballs were the best we ever!

This restaurant had been recommended by a local and he was correct. Of course the kids always love an Italian restaurant, but the cod appetizers (could have been a special), the Black Kale Salad, and the mussels were enjoyed by the adults. The small pizza was the size of a dinner plate and could be easily shared. Sitting outside on... More
